Fez of Mahrez Posted 19 December 2007 Posted 19 December 2007 It's ok...the Hungarians are here now Talking of Hungary, I'm really looking forward to that curry. Although maybe we should be going on the goulash instead. OLE!
Manwell Pablo Posted 19 December 2007 Posted 19 December 2007 OLE indeed As for the curry me too, unfortuantley I have 90 minutes of televised torture on saturday, and 180 minutes of shivering at the Walkers to do first. P.S Join my Flávio Conceição bandwagon. He's creative

P.S Join my Flávio Conceição bandwagon. He's creative I can't afford to. I was on the Kishishev bandwagon. I can't afford to get it wrong again with foreigners in their mid-30s. Thracian will have my guts for garters. F1 for Ipswich and Charlton?
Father Ted Posted 19 December 2007 Posted 19 December 2007 McLean looks a good player but it's not just Izale McLeod you can compare him with - Karl Hawley isn't exactly pulling up any trees at Preston and McLean reminds me more of Hawley than he does of McLeod. There are very few players who carve out a successful career in the top two leagues after doing well in League Two for a season or two. Even the likes of Jon Stead, Billy Sharp and to a lesser extent Andy Keogh are struggling this season - and some of their success was in League One. The same can obviously be said of Fryatt. Karl Hawley is at Preston He seems to have dissapeared off the face of the planet.

Will have to go Half time Orange pre match with him as well <_< Charlton, quite possible.
Staf Posted 19 December 2007 Posted 19 December 2007 Jamie O'Hara would be good also what has happened to Ryan Smith he was a good prospect ?
jonw88 Posted 19 December 2007 Posted 19 December 2007 Hows about Jonny Evans? What with his pedigree of "raping" women (i.e. La Manga) he would be perfect for our squad??

Jack Posted 19 December 2007 Posted 19 December 2007 Jamie O'Hara would be good also what has happened to Ryan Smith he was a good prospect ? At Milwall now.
jonw88 Posted 19 December 2007 Posted 19 December 2007 At Milwall now. Thought he was back at Spurs, he's played a couple of games for them lately, including setting up the goal for Malbranque yesterday.
i luv u foxes Posted 19 December 2007 Posted 19 December 2007 joe ledley and richard chaplow would make great signings
jonw88 Posted 21 December 2007 Posted 21 December 2007 I have a good idea... Chris Morgan of Sheffield United. He's been dropped frequently by Robson, and could just be the hard man we need in defence a la Walsh.
FleckneyFox Posted 22 December 2007 Posted 22 December 2007 http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11688_3000087,00.html He'd be excellent i reckon we could get him.
dandannieldanok Posted 22 December 2007 Posted 22 December 2007 joe ledley and richard chaplow would make great signings Ledley wouldn't be worth the money I'm expecting Cardiff want, having just sold Gunter for £4m(ish) Chaplow's a good shout. LCFC2007 Posted 22 December 2007 Posted 22 December 2007 I think that Leicester should buy a quick striker who can finish to play along side hume and we need another good solid midfielder that can work alongside Clemence and then we need a centre back in my opinion as mcauley and n'gotty are too slow. Fuller would be a good signing as we tried to get him in the summer but I don't think he would leave Stoke.
Brainy Posted 23 December 2007 Posted 23 December 2007 Somebody in the Daily Mirror yesterday (rumour) said we are trying to get N-E Johansson back....
CupidStunt Posted 23 December 2007 Posted 23 December 2007 Somebody in the Daily Mirror yesterday (rumour) said we are trying to get N-E Johansson back.... hehehe, yes apparently he is even more over weight now than before, and would make an ideal santa claus
Guest seanfox778 Posted 26 December 2007 Posted 26 December 2007 He's probably already been mentioned but surley we could get Jermaine Beckford from Leeds for fee that they couldn't turn down?
Hugo Sanchez Posted 26 December 2007 Posted 26 December 2007 I would definitely be interesting in signing Iversen No thank you ...
He's not bald Posted 26 December 2007 Posted 26 December 2007 He's probably already been mentioned but surley we could get Jermaine Beckford from Leeds for fee that theycouldn't turn down? Mr C from the Stadium of brightness...mark my word's he will be back in Jan! (you heard it here first)
WetFlannel Posted 26 December 2007 Posted 26 December 2007 Why are we going for strikers... as a fan its more exciting to sign strikers but they really arent needed. Our midfield needs to be addressed drastically, and until that is developed, we arent going anywhere...
EE155 Posted 27 December 2007 Posted 27 December 2007 We need a 15 goal a season striker. Someone who can do the same job for us as the likes of Phillips for West Brom. Also need cover in Centre Mid. N'Gotty has done a decent job but we need someone like Gudjonsson or Izzet who can boss the midfield a knock the ball around. Defence is sound and if we sign Fulop GK is fine too! Maybe a winger. I know we have Mattock, Sheehan and Hayes but they are all young kids and we could do with a proven winger to put the ball on the head of of the front pair. Hume and Fryatt have got there uses in midfield. Collins John needs to chip in or he wont have loan extended. So another Brian Deane/Emile Heskey to get a big small combo upfront!! NOT MUCH TO SORT EH???
