Tommy G Posted 24 November 2007 Posted 24 November 2007 I'd say buy to quality wingers, right and left. Defence and keeper are sound, no worries there for me. Centre mid could suffer if clem/weso are out for long periods but there is cover especially with the emerging king who looks like he could be a quality kid. We must have about 165 strikers on our books at the minute. Get rid of De Vries & Hammond and perhaps buy another big target man thats actually decent, unlike De Vries. With those additions and letting a few tag - a -longs go could prove to be pivitol if we still wan't to push for promotion this season. any ideas? Oh and a LB perhaps if Mattock goes, thats doubtful however fingers crossed.

BUT it needs to be a priority to sign him up!! it's obvious from the amount of cash Roy Keane has spent on absolute shite he knows f**k all about the price of players so offer him £250k and he will probably think it's a good deal!!

I've always rated CJ, so I'd definitely say yes. To say he hasn't done much is a bit harsh though, don't you think? 2 goals in 4 starts is decent for a team like ours!
Bryn Posted 24 November 2007 Posted 24 November 2007 I'd try and tie up permanent deals for Fulop and John, though this may prove difficult. After that, I think there'd be virtue in chasing a central midfielder, a winger or two and perhaps another striker. Some loan deals might be of more value than permanent deals, with more of an overhaul in the summer.

He has impressed me, but whether he's been unlucky I don't know but just seems abit injury prone. Has he actually played 90 minutes for us yet? Because I can only remember he coming on injured whenever he's been started. They have never been long term injury's and we've always had him back for the next game but still....

Need a LM, Mattock isn't quite good enough for the position yet. Need a RM, it'd allow Hume back up front Need some cover in CM, Clemence/Weso injured we're lost.
