Money talks in football mate, if a decent bid comes in for your players you will accept it, football clubs dont run on fresh air!

Not being funny but cash must be at a premium at your place with your attendances?

Besides, if your top players are ambitious they aint gonna stay at Plymouth if bigger clubs come in with double salarys, that may or may not be Leicester but to say that your players aint for sale is probably wishful thinking.

Id say 90% of championship clubs will sell players if the offer is decent enough, players dont wanna hang around in this crap division for longer than necessary!

Also, can I ask?

If Norris leaves (im certain he will) and joins whoever, will you lot be all slagging him off, calling him every name under the sun and spraying graffiti over his house like some have with Ollie?

Are you not having great success this season on the back of the great work Ollie has done for you?

Sorry chap what I meant to say was he wouldnt be available to Leicester, yes I do think he will leave possibly in January but more likely in summer.

I think he will go to Ipswich and for somewhere in the region of 2-2.5 million.

No I wont be slagging him off as I think he has been great for the club, and to be honest I couldnt give a toss about Holloway and never wanted him here in the first place, I beleive he is to big a personality for this club.

Yes we are having success however alot of the squad are the squad Luggy and then Pulis bought in before him, he bought two gems in Halmosi and Timar realy made an impact down here.

How about getting Maceo Rigters on loan from Blackburn, he hasnt featured for the first team since his move and won the golden boot at the U21 Euro Championships. Would be a great addition as either forward or winger.

What? Nacho Novo is not champions league quality. He can't get anywhere near the Rangers starting 11 and then you really reckon we can sign Maceo Rigters who is world class standard and is only being kept out of the Blackburn team by two top class players, Mccarthy and Santa-Cruz. :rolleyes:

Could you list players you realistically want to see us sign in January and who do you want to see sold/released?

Savo Milosevic is surely worth a punt.

Also Dušan Basta from Red Star Belgrade. This guy is a legend at Red Star and works his socks off, he is very Robbie Savage-esque, even looking like him. He IS a right back :frusty: but is ten times better than Rodders. One for the future maybe. Dusan Basta

A move to Europe to begin with the chance of a shot later at the Premiership, La Liga, Bundesliga and so on. Also Mandaric has links back there, you never know.

Current Plymouth manager Paul Sturrock said over the weekend that his club would not sell players to Leicester due to the bad feeling towards Holloway amongst supporter since he left the West Country for the East Midlands.

Now Holloway says he will look elsewhere for new recruits: "I have decided to pull out of the Plymouth scenario because I am very proud of the players I brought there.

"I don't know what's getting about but I don't like it. It is very damaging. I was very proud of the Plymouth fans and I don't want to go and raid their team. I am going to move on and find other targets.

"My chairman talked to their chairman and I didn't like the reaction, so I have put it all to rest and it is time to move on."

Town boss Jim Magilton made an enquiry regarding Norris in the close season and is expected to return for him in January. Southampton, whose current poor financial state appears to rule them out of the race, failed with bids of £700,000 and £1 million for the 26-year-old in the summer.

Crystal Palace are also tipped to make a move in January, while Plymouth chairman Paul Stapleton has said he will offer Norris a new contract in the New Year. The former Bolton, Boston and Hull City man's current deal is up at the end of June 2009.

Norris joined the Pilgrims in December 2002 for £25,000 from Bolton, who as part of that deal will receive 50% of the fee should Plymouth sell the midfielder.

Aaron McLean would imo be the Izale McLeod style who owns League Two and does fook all in the Championship.

What's the third one gotta do with early spring intercity congestion charges??? :dunno::dunno::unsure:

McLean looks a good player but it's not just Izale McLeod you can compare him with - Karl Hawley isn't exactly pulling up any trees at Preston and McLean reminds me more of Hawley than he does of McLeod. There are very few players who carve out a successful career in the top two leagues after doing well in League Two for a season or two. Even the likes of Jon Stead, Billy Sharp and to a lesser extent Andy Keogh are struggling this season - and some of their success was in League One. The same can obviously be said of Fryatt.

Posh have a few good creative players. Mackail-Smith, Boyd etc. I see their goals all the time on bloody Anglia TV (f**king Norwich, I DON'T CARE) and they create a lot of chances.

As you know, a League Two striker will make no difference until we have the Championship equivalent of players like Mackail-Smith and Boyd to actually give our strikers some chances.
