Shit_arse Posted 10 December 2007 Posted 10 December 2007 http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11095_2958555,00.html get him in.
RowlattsFox Posted 10 December 2007 Posted 10 December 2007 Lee Cook - Has not played for Fulham this season, is he injured? and played under Holloway at QPR, would be a good signing.
Fox You Forest Posted 10 December 2007 Posted 10 December 2007 Sounds too much like Sporty Spice for my liking... Lmao
FoxesFan123 Posted 10 December 2007 Posted 10 December 2007 babayaro on a free? left back isn't he? probably wouldn't come to us though, just a thought
FleckneyFox Posted 10 December 2007 Posted 10 December 2007 http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...ian/7136698.stm Half decent striker can score goals?
Staf Posted 10 December 2007 Posted 10 December 2007 babayaro on a free? left back isn't he? probably wouldn't come to us though, just a thought He is a left back and a pretty good one i would like him here but i think he will go Wigan someone like that
Jimmy Posted 10 December 2007 Posted 10 December 2007 http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11095_2958555,00.htmlget him in. he's shit and always injured, we have enough of those type here already
Jonezy Posted 10 December 2007 Posted 10 December 2007 More realistic deals will be loan deals though. I`d love us to follow Birminghams example of last season and actually get some quality loanees in as you see what happens when they come, you end up with players like Marton Fulop. I`d go for players that have hardly played this season for their clubs like...Alexandre Song (Arsenal defensive midfielder) Georgios Samaras (Man City -Striker who will want games as preparation for Greece in Euros - Totally frozen out by Sven) Sergio Peter (creative wide player who cant get in the team at Blackburn but has real quality) Nuno Valente (Everton left-back who is experienced and can look good at this poor level) Bobby Zamora (Cant get a game at West Ham and is even behind on loan Camara and Carlton Cole) I know its ambitious to think we should be going for players worth millions but Sunderland added a couple last season and Brum got three and despite struggling this season, we are one of the biggest clubs in the Championship so surely we can get the odd one or two in? The big Greek would be massive for us. But I'm afraid he rather move back to Holland, than play for us. Still these are the kind of players we should be looking at!
Rodders Posted 10 December 2007 Posted 10 December 2007 babayaro on a free? left back isn't he? probably wouldn't come to us though, just a thought It'd take the rest of the season to get him fit again. Not that that'll stop us....
FleckneyFox Posted 16 December 2007 Posted 16 December 2007 http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...ers/7146795.stm Not a bad shout at all hes an excellent striker http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11781_2973962,00.html Supposedly decent midfielder
Father Ted Posted 16 December 2007 Posted 16 December 2007 http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...ers/7146795.stmNot a bad shout at all hes an excellent striker http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11781_2973962,00.html Supposedly decent midfielder Nacho Novo would be a good shout. We were linked with him before he went to Rangers and weren't Coventry meant to sign him or something?? Evander Sno is a longshot.
Staf Posted 16 December 2007 Posted 16 December 2007 Nacho Novo is a good player would love to see him at Leicester
jonw88 Posted 16 December 2007 Posted 16 December 2007 Nacho Novo is a good player would love to see him at Leicester No chance, he is Champions League quality, why would he drop down to Championship relegation quality standard? How about getting Maceo Rigters on loan from Blackburn, he hasnt featured for the first team since his move and won the golden boot at the U21 Euro Championships. Would be a great addition as either forward or winger.
richy2704 Posted 16 December 2007 Posted 16 December 2007 If you are thinking about any players from Plymouth dont bother, they aint for sale at least not for a less then extravagent price. I remember IH saying David Norris was worth 5 Million when southampton came knocking, and that wasnt with a manager we hated. We also have a 50% sell on to Bolton so you can guarantee you will be paying that if we do sell him to you, I think he will stay anyway. You can always have Ruben Reid, good player just cant be arsed.(should fit in nicely) Lots of love and happy christmas The West Country

I seem to remember your chairman stating that in no way shape or form had Leicester made any enquiry to speak to Holloway when infact that was a blatant lie!! so in other words expect them to be heading north come January 1st!!

How rude. Jay I am just repeating the rumours as you lot have been doing, with regards to Norris ,Hayles, SEB, Seip and Halmosi so far you have been happy to repeat any scrap of info off any news paper or web site you come across you are supposedly linked to them all. Ollie has said he now isnt interested so they wont be going to you. I will take half decent over totally useless anytime.

Money talks in football mate, if a decent bid comes in for your players you will accept it, football clubs dont run on fresh air! Not being funny but cash must be at a premium at your place with your attendances? Besides, if your top players are ambitious they aint gonna stay at Plymouth if bigger clubs come in with double salarys, that may or may not be Leicester but to say that your players aint for sale is probably wishful thinking. Id say 90% of championship clubs will sell players if the offer is decent enough, players dont wanna hang around in this crap division for longer than necessary! Also, can I ask? If Norris leaves (im certain he will) and joins whoever, will you lot be all slagging him off, calling him every name under the sun and spraying graffiti over his house like some have with Ollie? Are you not having great success this season on the back of the great work Ollie has done for you? Just wondered?
Big Time Charlies Posted 18 December 2007 Posted 18 December 2007 Derby, Preston and Leicester have all been alerted to the availability of Aberdeen midfielder Barry Nicholson. (Daily Express) http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/g...ers/7149260.stm Just read this on the BBC footie gossip page - anyone knwo anything about this guy? Any good?

Any good? Would add very little to our first team if you ask me and he's not getting any younger. He'd be alright as a squad player but we need to dump about 10 players before we think abou signing squad players.
Big Time Charlies Posted 18 December 2007 Posted 18 December 2007 Great - another 'squad player' just what we need right? I struggle to name any convincing 'star players' in our team? With most of the other Championship clubs it's not that hard to pick out thier big shots, but we seem to have ended up with a team of mediocre 'squad players'
Babylon Posted 18 December 2007 Posted 18 December 2007 This is only paper talk, lets not twist our knickers just yet.

I work with a big Aberdeen fan (he's at least 20 stone!) and he's his favourite player. Attacking midfielder and he'd be gutted if he left. I personally always take the opinions of opposing fans when signing a player as a good indication.

As you should he more than likely knows alot more about than me I've not seen lots of him, he's just always struck me as a pretty average run of the mill SPL midfielder he wouldn't add a great deal to our squad.
