Thracian Posted 4 December 2007 Posted 4 December 2007 Exactly what I was saying.BRING BACK N'GOTTY! N'Gotty would be my first selection in defence. Gibson mentioned that footbal's a simple game and that's how N'Gotty plays it. He must be so comfortable to play alongside because he never makes easy situations difficult.
Milky Posted 4 December 2007 Posted 4 December 2007 I'd stick Bruno on and go with the three centre backs.
Zingari Posted 4 December 2007 Posted 4 December 2007 Is Colin Gibson a bit thick? well he does get paid to watch this shoite whereas the rest of us.......................
brookfox Posted 4 December 2007 Posted 4 December 2007 well he does get paid to watch this shoite whereas the rest of us....................... ****, you got me there!
Thracian Posted 4 December 2007 Posted 4 December 2007 He was a footballer.Although Barber is thicker. Burnley are the epitomy of a bogey team so don't hold any hopes of any goals in this half. And, in all fairness, they've been beating the best teams recently. Perhaps we should have gone for Owen Coyle? I wish we'd find someone who'd take his attitude to the game.
fox123 Posted 4 December 2007 Posted 4 December 2007 We'll be fine - we've got Shaun Newton on the bench.... They can all have a loving bonding session be told 'Don't worry lads i'm here to give you a great big cuddle, nurture you, give you some ollie loving" How's about a fookin boot up the arse ollie!!!
B195 Posted 4 December 2007 Posted 4 December 2007 I can't see us scoring. lately we only seem to be able to score from set pieces and its sounds like today we are doing crap with them too. Looking at the bench too it is not that inspiring.
Cobbo Posted 4 December 2007 Posted 4 December 2007 I've just realised we have 3 full backs in midfield!! Haha!!
Wasyls Pec Deck Posted 4 December 2007 Posted 4 December 2007 I've just realised we have 3 full backs in midfield!!Haha!! a la Megson
brookfox Posted 4 December 2007 Posted 4 December 2007 I can't see us scoring. lately we only seem to be able to score from set pieces and its sounds like today we are doing crap with them too. It's almost like we've got 4 strikers unavailable!
Thracian Posted 4 December 2007 Posted 4 December 2007 I'd stick Bruno on and go with the three centre backs. Why stop there. We could stick Kingy on as well - he can play in defence - then we can perhaps become the first Championship side to go with four centre-backs, five full-backs, one goalkeeper, and why not try Clemence as a striker just to be sure we've got defensive cover when we need it. Fulop; Stearman, McAuley, N'Gotty, King, KIsnorbo, Mattock =======The WICKES (Just the Job) Wall====== Maybury, Kention, Sheehan Clemence.
Lillehamring Posted 4 December 2007 Posted 4 December 2007 I've just realised we have 3 full backs in midfield!!Haha!! didn't Ollie say that he found he'd been left with 8 RBs, & felt sorry for them? guess he's making them feel better by giving them all a game...
sdb Posted 4 December 2007 Posted 4 December 2007 i'm optimistic about the 2nd half. come on power failure!!
Thracian Posted 4 December 2007 Posted 4 December 2007 You can guarantee Gibson won't be hammering Clemence or Kisnorbo or Maybury ....
Staf Posted 4 December 2007 Posted 4 December 2007 i'm optimistic about the 2nd half. come on power failure!!
Thracian Posted 4 December 2007 Posted 4 December 2007 At least it doesn't sound like we'll be losing too much ground on the top teams!!!! Bloody hell, City have a shot from open play!
brookfox Posted 4 December 2007 Posted 4 December 2007 Might require devine intervention, but I reckon we'll sneak a 1-1!
shrood Posted 4 December 2007 Posted 4 December 2007 I was absolutely fuming earlier when the woman in NatWest informed me they'd reversed the decision to extend my overdraft, meaning I couldn't go to the match. I'm now considering filling in one of those forms comending a member of staff for 'going the extra mile'.
