Clogger Posted 4 December 2007 Posted 4 December 2007 I'd have given Megson stick for this team, so Holloway shouldn't be spared from a bit. Crap selection. Not an effort on goal I can remember.
Thracian Posted 4 December 2007 Posted 4 December 2007 This is the most experienced team we've played for ages - three youngsters instead of five or six - but it sounds like our worst performance of the season.
StroudFox Posted 4 December 2007 Posted 4 December 2007 Where is the next win coming from? When the opposition give us some own goals???
Staf Posted 4 December 2007 Posted 4 December 2007 This is pretty worrying and also norwich are winning and so are qpr thats two out of the bottom three winning
The Reverend Posted 4 December 2007 Posted 4 December 2007 I'd have given Megson stick for this team, so Holloway shouldn't be spared from a bit.Crap selection. Not an effort on goal I can remember. Harsh to blame anyone for the personnel today. The little 'cutting edge' we do have (DJ, Fryatt, Wesolowski) is injured and suspended, we dont have any options.
Thracian Posted 4 December 2007 Posted 4 December 2007 Come on Sheehan - 30-yard free-kick. Please.................shit, Stearman just fails to finish.
C-man Posted 4 December 2007 Posted 4 December 2007 I don't agree with the selection, but I don't know how much worse our players can get...

I hate to say this, but I'm not sure the youngsters I saw at the weekend are enough to stop this malaise. Bar the goal (I know!), the game totally passed King by.
jonw88 Posted 4 December 2007 Posted 4 December 2007 I just don't understand why he picked this team.. Maybury - A full back by trade, playing in right midfield when he hasn't started a game all season and has been shite for the reserves. We have Kaebi, A Chambers, even Newton who could fill this role. Where is N'Gotty? We barely conceded when he was playing! Get him in at RB like when we beat Watford 4-1 and stick Stearman on RM or on the bench. Kenton in midfield... why not King? An ACTUAL midfielder! Who scored a wonder goal! And what about forwards... we know they're all dead at the moment, but at least put one of the bench, Sappleton or Kee who's been banging them in for the academy. Surely thats a better shout that what we have now??
Milky Posted 4 December 2007 Posted 4 December 2007 I can't take another relegation battle. fooking shit.
Thracian Posted 4 December 2007 Posted 4 December 2007 Blake squanders a sitter...we could be dead and buried by now.
Wasyls Pec Deck Posted 4 December 2007 Posted 4 December 2007 Blake should've made it 2-0...he didn't. TURNING POINT PERHAPS!!!!

Thracian Posted 4 December 2007 Posted 4 December 2007 Mahon flashes a quality shot wide. Burnley seem so potent in attack. How the hell did we escape with 1-0 at half-time? Apart from Sheehan's free-kicks I don't think we posed any threat whatsoever.
Frenzied Posted 4 December 2007 Posted 4 December 2007 Well that sounded like an absolute shower of shit.
Rodders Posted 4 December 2007 Posted 4 December 2007 We'll be fine - we've got Shaun Newton on the bench....
Cobbo Posted 4 December 2007 Posted 4 December 2007 Is Colin Gibson a bit thick? He was a footballer. Although Barber is thicker. Burnley are the epitomy of a bogey team so don't hold any hopes of any goals in this half. And, in all fairness, they've been beating the best teams recently. Perhaps we should have gone for Owen Coyle?
