Will Fulop want to stay with us?

I seriously do hope we can have his services again next season but we have to start showing our willingness to play premeirship footie first. If we don't make the playoffs I can see him being snapped up by a lower league prem club and It'd be a damn shame to lose our best keeper since Walker as well. Time for us to make something good out of this bad season then :scarf: C'mon leicester!

I reckon he'd like to stay, hes won us all, of all the players / managers weve had or will have, I cant see anyone getting on Fulops back. Its a win win situation tbh

Well... we have him until the end of the season. Thats a start. If we are showing bucket loads more skill then, than we are now ( i reckong not in Prem but close) then we have a chance

Sunderland have a re call option in January and also have said he`s not for sale to us, or anyone else in the summer, BUT things change very quickly in football, that`s why nobody knows anything much, for very long !

Depends what he wants. If he can get a dead cert from a Premiership team then, in his best interests, he's bound to take it.

However, if we start improving and he is definitely enjoying it then I see no reason why he would not want to stay

If Fulop goes in January then that might have serious consequences for our ability to survive in this League let alone push onwards.

Fulop has been immense for us this season - not just his handling of high crosses and general goalkeeping but for the confidence he's given to our defenders.

How we could expect to get a replacement of his calibre I've no idea.

Yet for all his efforts we only have a four point cushion.

We've still got Hendo - he was never particularly shocking iirc. But definately we need to try and get Fulop in permenantly.

No chance of getting Fulop. He's ambitious and good enough for a much better team. Unfortunately.

We can try though. We've got the setup for a premier team just not the players.

He could definitly cut it in the Prem it's wether he's willing to take the risk of being sidelined every now and then because he's got no chance of that happening down here, Unless..

Rab Comes back

We'll sign him

Fulop wants to stay!!!!!

“It's up to Leicester and Sunderland and whether they can agree a price,†said the 6ft 6in goalkeeper. “After that, we can talk about it because, like I have said, I am really enjoying my time here.â€

Fulop

Hoorray!!!!!!! :scarf:

I may be here for keeps - Fulop

Leicester City goalkeeper Marton Fulop has not ruled out making his loan move to the Walkers Stadium permanent.

The giant stopper has made the position his own since moving to City on a season-long loan from Premier League outfit Sunderland in August.

He was at the top of his game again at Burnley on Tuesday night, making a string of saves to help City take a vital Championship point from Turf Moor.

Owen Coyle, the Burnley manager, described Fulop's performance as “inspired†as the keeper's saves denied Robbie Blake and Andy Gray either side of half-time.

It is the type of form that has prompted many fans to urge City to seek his permanent signature with the January transfer window coming up.

Fulop admits he is enjoying his time with City, and would not rule out a lasting move.

“It's up to Leicester and Sunderland and whether they can agree a price,†said the 6ft 6in goalkeeper. “After that, we can talk about it because, like I have said, I am really enjoying my time here.â€

The Hungary international goalkeeper has helped City form the meanest defence in the Championship, conceding just 15 goals in 19 games this season.

But at 24, a relatively young age for a goalkeeper, Fulop believes he can only get better. “I was happy with my performance against Burnley,†he said. “But there are still lots of things that I am looking to learn.

“I can never say I had the perfect game. Every game there are things I can look at and think about and learn from.

“It's great to be playing for Leicester and I am really enjoying it. It's a great learning curve for me.â€

He has been an ever-present since arriving in time for the trip to Crystal Palace back in August.

And his performances have made him a huge favourite with supporters, with the chant “Fulop's unbeatable†following him around the country.

Fulop said: “I love the fans at Leicester City. They have made me feel really welcome here. I can't thank them enough for the faith that they have in me.â€

Promotion-chasing West Bromwich Albion will be cheered on by around 3,000 supporters at the Walkers Stadium on Saturday.

The Baggies sold their initial allocation of 2,300 tickets and have been given a further 900 seats.

He's been one of the few positives of the season. Quality keeper and arguably best in division and we desperately need to keep him. I was big fan of Henderson but he's not got same ability as Fulop.

There is no arguement he is!
