dpjfox Posted 10 December 2007 Posted 10 December 2007 Why do they do that?Watching McAuley, in particualr on Saturday it seem to be because no one was making themselves available, on several occasions he looked and moved forward with the ball but there was no outlet no movement the whole of the 5 man midfield was either too far away, too near or too static. The defenders are the same when Fulop has the ball they stroll out of defence with their backs to the goal Fulop has the ball in the throwing position and you can read his mind as he says of fooking hell and then hoofs it. The midfield and the forward(s) are as static as well, on the very, very rare occasion that a ball is passed beyond the defender to a winger or forward on the move I stand and cheer as if we'd scored. Even when we hoof it it's high in the air to a static player and by the time they receive it they have 3 defenders on them. The whole team look like they are playing statues FFS
Linekaaaah Posted 10 December 2007 Posted 10 December 2007 SMASH and GRAB a 1-0 Hume pen Optimistic. Can't see us picking up any points before January, especially at Ipswich. Just hope Ollie spends well in Jan - and revenge at St. Mary's for that dodgy pen would be good too. I presume i'm not the only one here who thought that cup draw was slightly dodgy...
Milans Foxes Posted 10 December 2007 Posted 10 December 2007 I certainly wont be calling for ollies head when we lose. Ive learned that after MA, GM, FB and now IH that it's all our players that are shit not the managers. GM is doing very well at Bolton now. Unless Kaebi, Hellings, Odihambo turn out to be a hell of a lot better than the likes of Stearman, Newton and Fryatt, i will never question the manager. If Kaebi, Hellings etc end up amazing you have to wonder why the hell the managers didn't pick them and then question Holloway. Wheres De Vries and Porter, they should be worth bringing back? MA got the players playing football in the 4-1 win V Watford so Holloway should get them playing.
Staf Posted 10 December 2007 Posted 10 December 2007 I think that we will lose against ipswich but we will beat Hull on saturday

jonw88 Posted 10 December 2007 Posted 10 December 2007 Yet again, look back at the 4-1 win over Watford. N'Gotty played at right back instead of Stearman. Why on earth isn't he starting? If you're gonna play Stearman, put him at right midfield, as he likes to get forward and his tracking back for defending is absolute shit. N'Gotty all the way for me. Hume either up front or right midfield with the influx of strikers returning, King to start alongside Clemence for me and give Hayes a shot at left midfield with Sheehan/Mattock at LB. Think Fryatt and Campbell up front would be best, with Cort on the bench with John.

Yes Martin Allen may have got the players playing against Watford but he certainly didn't against Blackpool and Forest. Why do people keep talking about Martin Allen? We've got Ollie, give him time and see what he can do. No point dwelling on the past.
SamL Posted 10 December 2007 Posted 10 December 2007 Well Said I like you. We share the same thoughts

jonw88 Posted 10 December 2007 Posted 10 December 2007 More "bad news"... Kunton, sorry Kenton, limped off in training, so is a doubt for tomorrow. Probably due to too much time partying and clubbing with the Stearzzzzmeister by pretending to be a celebrity to pull girls rather than giving a shit about our football club. Oh well, all put in place for N'Gotty to take right back and Stearman to bugger off.

To be fair, it doesn't matter what players get up to off the field (Within reason) providing they are putting in a performance on the field. Kenton is one of the select few who have actually put in a good performance over the past few games. Mr Stearman on the other hand isn't performing on the pitch so shouldn't really be out partying. I think a certain Mr Holloway needs to be having a word with him.
SamL Posted 10 December 2007 Posted 10 December 2007 Probably because they get a response everytime! Good point DavieG, I will learn to ignore.

WetFlannel Posted 10 December 2007 Posted 10 December 2007 Seeing that spelling and your avatar, I'm guessing you're a fly. he does resemble a fly!
jonw88 Posted 10 December 2007 Posted 10 December 2007 he does resemble a fly! Pretty fly for a white guy Nah i used to go to school with Stearman, he was a stuck up cock then and still is now by the looks of it, thinks he's god's gift to women. I used to rate him but recently his defensive performances have been absolute cock, he should play in midfield IF anything, the lanky git.
Eastern Fox Posted 10 December 2007 Posted 10 December 2007 Ipswich's home record this season is P 9, W 8, D 1, L 0. Will have to be a special performance to beat them, can't really see it on the basis of the West Brom game. Hopefully Ollie will change his tactics, they didn't really work on Saturday.

If guys didn't think like that when they're in their teens and 20's the human race would probably die out. Hell it's a pretty small window most of us are ever given anyway. No need to begrudge a guy enjoying it whether he's under an illusion or not. With any luck he'll grow older, wiser and less irritating to people like you. If not he'll doubtless learn the hard way somehow or other. Life tends to work like that.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 11 December 2007 Posted 11 December 2007 I notice people all ways complaining about injuries, everyone on our list is a professional football player and it doesn't matter what fooking number you got on your back when you step on the field its lcfc v opposistion, 11 men v 11 men. I hate it when people use injuries as excuses

Linekaaaah Posted 11 December 2007 Posted 11 December 2007 Our team still whiffs of Craig Levein. Old Spice, Jockstraps and Bullshit?
