Kilworthfox Posted 30 December 2007 Posted 30 December 2007 I remember a time when us mere mortals at LCFC could sit and wonder at the stars of the past being served up to us every week. I remember the stars like Rusty Lee entertaining us for those 15 minutes along with the birch. We even got to see the ticket getting pulled out of the hat and the winner was announced LIVE! It seems to me that those at LCFC cannot be bothered with the half time entertainment any more, the furthest they stretch now is a race of kids around the pitch and some sponsors for photos. Poor! How about we throw rotten fruit and veg at Birch for his recent poor halftimes? Or Barber can come on and explain why Derby are so Shit. Maybe we could have a Legends 5 a side comp over a few weeks of course! We could have the 8 players who have been told to go home do some sort of community service seing as we are still paying them. maybe some possibilities should be looked at here? Maybe turning the upturned turf! Something...... How would you spice up Birchy's half time roadshows?
shrood Posted 30 December 2007 Posted 30 December 2007 Yeah it's pretty shite. They should get Mark Morrison to come and bash out a couple of tunes again.
Daggers Posted 30 December 2007 Posted 30 December 2007 Christians being given to some lions would sort me out a treat
Asha Posted 30 December 2007 Posted 30 December 2007 Christians being given to some lions would sort me out a treat
Sods Posted 30 December 2007 Posted 30 December 2007 Haven't seen one in ages, straight down stairs for a drink.
Asha Posted 30 December 2007 Posted 30 December 2007 We should have some fit girls on the pitch doing crossbar challenge, and everytime they miss they have to take off a piece of clothing
Mike the Metal Ed Posted 30 December 2007 Posted 30 December 2007 Bring back the Bulgarian ball juggler.
davieG Posted 30 December 2007 Posted 30 December 2007 They should make it 10 minutes long like it always used to be and while they're at it 1 shilling to get in and a 1d to park my bike.
Big Ol' Bob Posted 30 December 2007 Posted 30 December 2007 How about a crossbar challenge.........Oh...No hang on.......Fire jugglers................oh....wait a minute.....I give up.............Mark Selby, Kasabian..............erm......................... ???
WetFlannel Posted 30 December 2007 Posted 30 December 2007 The only thing I've seen this season has been the mascot race Very bland this season...
Joe. Posted 30 December 2007 Posted 30 December 2007 Let's be honest, halftime entertainment is rubbish everywhere.
BedsFox Posted 30 December 2007 Posted 30 December 2007 Birchenall should retire His gibberish got boring in about 1992, whether it be half time, pre-match, phone-ins whatever Although I admire his passion and his charity work enormously as an announcer/crowd warm-up man he doesn't inspire me, I find him embarrassing
C.J Posted 30 December 2007 Posted 30 December 2007 Bring back the Bulgarian ball juggler. Good lad, I was just about to mention that. Was that the bloke they had at filbert street?? he was awsome.
WetFlannel Posted 30 December 2007 Posted 30 December 2007 The half time entertainent at Stoke is terrible... they just let loads of kids onto the pitch and let them have a few shots at these feeble little goals. We look like Disney Land compared to them

We look like Disney Land compared to them Not last year, they had page 3 girls waltzing around and disabled kids playing footy
Hugo Sanchez Posted 30 December 2007 Posted 30 December 2007 Remember when Birch thanked the Man Utd fans for making the long drive from Plymouth
C.J Posted 30 December 2007 Posted 30 December 2007 , but tbh most Man u fans come from nowhere near Manchester.
MPH Posted 30 December 2007 Posted 30 December 2007 Christians being given to some lions would sort me out a treat they tried that one and the Lions wouldnt eat him...
lildave3 Posted 30 December 2007 Posted 30 December 2007 , but tbh most Man u fans come from nowhere near Manchester. No shit. That doesn't mean that nobody in Manchester spports Man U.
