Lets Be having You Posted 9 January 2008 Posted 9 January 2008 Muwahaha. great days hope we get them back
SamL Posted 9 January 2008 Posted 9 January 2008 Geeez that away end looks immense. Agreed, good video. Doubt we could ever replicate those days again. The team were performing and the passion they showed rubbed off on the fans. Bring back those days.
kyleolly Posted 9 January 2008 Posted 9 January 2008 i was there right at the front neil lennon chucked his shorts into the crowd and i caught them
Guest Posted 9 January 2008 Posted 9 January 2008 i was there right at the front neil lennon chucked his shorts into the crowd and i caught them I always will remember Gary Parker stranded between us and the police cordon in just his underpants. For the record, I actually wanted to see another of the players in his undies.
Stevosevic Posted 9 January 2008 Posted 9 January 2008 Still my favourite goal ever, i wasn't there but it was still magical.
kyleolly Posted 9 January 2008 Posted 9 January 2008 i cant believe you missed neil lennon in his undies lisa loverly white pants
Newcastle_Fox Posted 9 January 2008 Posted 9 January 2008 What an awesome night that was standing behind the goal on the terraces, stoke fans above us in the upper tier. Parkers goal was awesome, even better it was infront of us. When the full time whistle went the Stoke fans charged at us over the pitch from all corners of the ground, loads of police horses and police were about. Stoke fans above us was raining down missiles on us, but what an awesome night, boy what would I give to have them days back.

OMG! forgot about that..what a night!..almost as good but no where near as intimidating as Fratton Park...now that was scary!
Wasyls Pec Deck Posted 9 January 2008 Posted 9 January 2008 what I'd give for Garry Parker or a Garry Parker in our side right now...in fact I think he still lives in Leicester.......
He's not bald Posted 9 January 2008 Posted 9 January 2008 what I'd give for Garry Parker or a Garry Parker in our side right now...in fact I think he still lives in Leicester....... And the Victoria Ground vs Filbert Street...bloody brill!
Newcastle_Fox Posted 9 January 2008 Posted 9 January 2008 And the Victoria Ground vs Filbert Street...bloody brill! Kevin Poole's awesome save in the first leg at Filbo to keep the score at 0-0
philce Posted 10 January 2008 Posted 10 January 2008 OMG! forgot about that..what a night!..almost as good but no where near as intimidating as Fratton Park...now that was scary! I remember that one, we managed to park on completely the wrong side of town. It was very very dodgy going back to the car after, they were baying for blood!! Great day out though!!!
CupidStunt Posted 10 January 2008 Posted 10 January 2008 Yes,great night,i was just to the left of the goal....stoke fans were piling down coins etc on us for pretty much most of the game, cops didnt move a muscle to stop them Those were the days, standing up Scary afterwards though, with the pitch invade we parked a mile away, and even though i was amongst a group of lads who could look after themselves,it was pretty intense
sam_lcfc Posted 10 January 2008 Posted 10 January 2008 what I'd give for Garry Parker or a Garry Parker in our side right now...in fact I think he still lives in Leicester....... I have a feeling that he ended up playing for some random team in Oxfordshire called Kidlington Utd/Town!! Apparently they collected ex-pro's like POG's!!!!!! Quote from Wikipedia...."He now runs a building company and manages Kidlington reserves."...im guessing he doesn't live in Leicester!!...shame we could do with him in the centre of our midfield.
bigneville Posted 10 January 2008 Posted 10 January 2008 What a day that game was, will never ever forget the great atmosphere during the game. One of my favourite away days ever. Was is Mark Prudhoe who was in goal for them? Remember hurling abuse at there keeper for being overweight.
Simi Posted 10 January 2008 Posted 10 January 2008 Wow. The roar when that goal goes in is something.
Guest Posted 10 January 2008 Posted 10 January 2008 i cant believe you missed neil lennon in his undies lisa loverly white pants I didn't; I erased it from my memory. Sadly, a couple of years later, I got to share a jacuzzi with him. But that's another (boring in reality) story.
