He'd cost fook all as well. youre not the only person that thought that! he came on against arsenal and hit some stupidly powerul shot and i remebered the good ol days when we were near the bottom of the league and he was our only good performer!

Ric Flair Posted 10 January 2008 Posted 10 January 2008 He had his faults and was woefully inconsistent at times, but he could pick a pass and could drive the team forward. I always thought that alongside a quality midfielder and some proper wingers that he'd be very good at this level. His goals would be nice as well, although perhaps that was a one season wonder.

This is a key area of the team that has been poor for too long now. One senior centre mid player in a squad of over 30 is a scandalous situation to be in. Sort it ASAP !

He will be getting in centre mids. He's probably working on deals for players as we speak right now! We are only 10 days into the transfer window, with weeks ahead of us yet. Thats plenty of time to bring in some good midfielders. I am also liking the idea of Joey coming back as well!

He can't even get in to the Burnley side under two different managers - and they're not exactly pulling up any trees in that area of the pitch, are they? We can do better.
