Sorry, but being blonde and very dumb I'm now confused. Only a few minutes ago you were claiming you'd given me 20 quid to give to Manwell?!!! :S

Yes for the ticket but Pablo told me to get him the ticket instead ... So you OWE me 20 quid !

Have to say, somewhat disappointed (relieved?) by your lack of resemblance to fourty year old Bristollian truck driver. ;)

Shuussshh, you. Some of us have a reputation to uphold.

And it was Dan, 45, from Hull - though you were right about the truck driver bit. :|

BTW, didn't get a chance to say 'Hi' on Satdee - so a belated 'Hello'.

Don't listen to him. Massive twat

I wasn't planning on losing sleep over it, tbh.

 Being generally small (if loud) there's not really enough Finners to get around such a crowd. Hopefully next time! You seemed to be enjoying the company of one Mr. Dagenham D Esq, however!

Who said the art of witty repartee was dead? I can't be the only one fascinated by this gladiatorial bout of verbal jousting between two heavyweights of the written word.

The best bit is imagining them pouring over their dictionaries to decipher that. ;)

Ah... but knowing the alphabet is an essential prerequisite to successful dictionary usage, I think you'll find.

Here I am (lord).

(ref: Vandals, The)

I ache.

Didn't really enjoy the game. Fair play to the under 21s, they were the better team by some margin.

We kept it competitive(ish) first half but second half we were blown away. From a personal point of view, I played a few nice through balls, put in a handful of good challenges and showed a few nice touches and turns but overall produced very very little at all.

In one instance I turned one of your midfielders and left him for dead with the turn itself, but found it so hard to run on that ground that within an instant, he was back on me. Not sure if that is more testament to his tenacity, workrate and desire or my own demise and decline in to mid-twenties beer-ism.

Er, JBF. The one you got a handful of.

Edit: I've just thought. Effort needs to be made to get TBJS to the next one of these.

JBF and me are pretty tight - just a bit of handbags you know.

There is a deep running river of respect which links us both, like two sleepy Lincolnshire forgotten sea-side dock towns.

Majestic turn in the first half, sir. Just if you had the pace to complete it ;) ;)

 No harm intended, just a mixture of over-enthusiasm and shocking timing. Nice meeting you aswell as a few others! :)
