Tommy G Posted 28 January 2008 Posted 28 January 2008 YOU JUST HAD YOUR ARSE GIFT WRAPPED TO YA THOMAS G BY MY BOI FNNS Pardon?
ASH17LCFC Posted 28 January 2008 Posted 28 January 2008 Sorry, but being blonde and very dumb I'm now confused. Only a few minutes ago you were claiming you'd given me 20 quid to give to Manwell?!!! Yes for the ticket but Pablo told me to get him the ticket instead ... So you OWE me 20 quid !
AoWW Posted 28 January 2008 Posted 28 January 2008 Have to say, somewhat disappointed (relieved?) by your lack of resemblance to fourty year old Bristollian truck driver. Shuussshh, you. Some of us have a reputation to uphold. And it was Dan, 45, from Hull - though you were right about the truck driver bit. BTW, didn't get a chance to say 'Hi' on Satdee - so a belated 'Hello'. Don't listen to him. Massive twat I wasn't planning on losing sleep over it, tbh.
ASH17LCFC Posted 28 January 2008 Posted 28 January 2008 Pardon? Meaning Finns just call you a massive twat
Finnegan Posted 28 January 2008 Posted 28 January 2008 BTW, didn't get a chance to say 'Hi' on Satdee - so a belated 'Hello'. Being generally small (if loud) there's not really enough Finners to get around such a crowd. Hopefully next time! You seemed to be enjoying the company of one Mr. Dagenham D Esq, however!
Tommy G Posted 28 January 2008 Posted 28 January 2008 Meaning Finns just call you a massive twat Not really - was that his exact words? I think thats a bit rich coming from you

Fez of Mahrez Posted 28 January 2008 Posted 28 January 2008 Who said the art of witty repartee was dead? I can't be the only one fascinated by this gladiatorial bout of verbal jousting between two heavyweights of the written word.
AoWW Posted 28 January 2008 Posted 28 January 2008 Yes for the ticket but Pablo told me to get him the ticket instead ... So you OWE me 20 quid ! Oh, yeah... of course. I'll get it to you sometime when I'm not busy, shall I? Get a life, fooking twat! . Being generally small (if loud) there's not really enough Finners to get around such a crowd. Hopefully next time! You seemed to be enjoying the company of one Mr. Dagenham D Esq, however! Indeed, t'was spiffing. Pfft, you could have come and rescued me, y'know!!!

The best bit is imagining them pouring over their dictionaries to decipher that.
AoWW Posted 28 January 2008 Posted 28 January 2008 The best bit is imagining them pouring over their dictionaries to decipher that. Ah... but knowing the alphabet is an essential prerequisite to successful dictionary usage, I think you'll find.

The People's Hero Posted 28 January 2008 Posted 28 January 2008 Here I am (lord). (ref: Vandals, The) I ache. Didn't really enjoy the game. Fair play to the under 21s, they were the better team by some margin. We kept it competitive(ish) first half but second half we were blown away. From a personal point of view, I played a few nice through balls, put in a handful of good challenges and showed a few nice touches and turns but overall produced very very little at all. In one instance I turned one of your midfielders and left him for dead with the turn itself, but found it so hard to run on that ground that within an instant, he was back on me. Not sure if that is more testament to his tenacity, workrate and desire or my own demise and decline in to mid-twenties beer-ism.
Finnegan Posted 28 January 2008 Posted 28 January 2008 Personally I just want to see a rematch of TPH vs. The Ginge.
The People's Hero Posted 28 January 2008 Posted 28 January 2008 Personally I just want to see a rematch of TPH vs. The Ginge. The Ginge as in JBF or as in my mate The Ginge who turned up at the pub randomly?
Finnegan Posted 28 January 2008 Posted 28 January 2008 Er, JBF. The one you got a handful of. Edit: I've just thought. Effort needs to be made to get TBJS to the next one of these.

JBF and me are pretty tight - just a bit of handbags you know. There is a deep running river of respect which links us both, like two sleepy Lincolnshire forgotten sea-side dock towns.

Majestic turn in the first half, sir. Just if you had the pace to complete it ;)

No harm intended, just a mixture of over-enthusiasm and shocking timing. Nice meeting you aswell as a few others!
