Koke Posted 27 January 2008 Posted 27 January 2008 It was funny though how the lads just carried him to the sideline and just dumped him there so they could get on with their game.
lildave3 Posted 27 January 2008 Posted 27 January 2008 I was the taking the easy way out. Marking Maybes or Tevez was too much hassle so I went for the shortest player on the field. Now that's reasoning I can agree with
Floating Fox Posted 27 January 2008 Posted 27 January 2008 Surprise of the Day - Raj & his surprisinly decent football skills. Disapointment of the Day - HullFox for not bringing his missus. MOTM - C-Man. Impact Substition, rescued the game when the U21's had made their way back into it. Great substition by myself

Hullfox Posted 27 January 2008 Posted 27 January 2008 Disapointment of the Day - HullFox for not bringing his missus. Sorry. I think she was seeing her other bloke.
AoWW Posted 27 January 2008 Posted 27 January 2008 Was AooWW the one who turned up with a big bottle of booze? No, surely not. Micky Ruddle Posted 27 January 2008 Posted 27 January 2008 You bloody did! All is forgiven though no worries Much apologies mate. I didn't even realise i had done it Hope it's all good now though mate
Scow Posted 27 January 2008 Posted 27 January 2008 Cracking day. The game was good natured, and despite the hammering, it was enjoyable to be involved. The U21 were just quicker and better - hope we can bridge the gap next time. I feel even more a cripple than Cobbo (sorry) - playing for the first time in 6 months might explain that. I couldn't believe we were only 2 goals behind at the break - although we did actually manage to create a few chances. If it wasn't for Manwell's near post mishaps, we would have been level! I thought Sparky was our best player - kept it down to single figures. And whoever was playing right wing in the first half (Tommeh?) was too quick. Yer bastard. I though Bert and JME were their best players. And when I played centreback in the second half, me and Chris were trying to master the offside trap in vain. Also nice to meet a few new people as well. The Loaded Dog afterwards was good too - can't remember how much I put away, but me and Cobbo were in there from the start.
Floating Fox Posted 27 January 2008 Posted 27 January 2008 Sorry.I think she was seeing her other bloke. Damn Pesky Thracian at it again. No, surely not. The Tanglefoot's still in the boot of my car, btw. Shame you were too young to partake. Biatch. Wait untill the summer, keep it in the car untill then
Hullfox Posted 27 January 2008 Posted 27 January 2008 Damn Pesky Thracian at it again. Yeah, I'd heard he'd had it in for me.
syston_fox Posted 27 January 2008 Posted 27 January 2008 And when I played centreback in the second half, me and Chris were trying to master the offside trap in vain. You know we got that spot on every single time
Scow Posted 27 January 2008 Posted 27 January 2008 You know we got that spot on every single time Well, it doesn't help when you have shoddy linesman.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 27 January 2008 Posted 27 January 2008 Well, it doesn't help when you have shoddy linesman. For the record, all of my decisions were correct apart from one time Tommeh was clean through - he was well onside but I had to flag.
Joe. Posted 27 January 2008 Posted 27 January 2008 For the record, all of my decisions were correct apart from one time Tommeh was clean through - he was well onside but I had to flag. Ssssh, don't listen to them. I got grief off Finners for some of my decisions. Pesky Welshman....
RowlattsFox Posted 27 January 2008 Posted 27 January 2008 I am so unfit I can't believe how poor I was first half, the game completely passed me by, think i only touched the ball a couple of times, everytime i got near the ball it was past me in a flash Yesterday was the first time I've played football in a year and a half and it was the first time I've played 11-a-side since i left my sunday league side when i was 18. I expected to be a bit rusty but I didnt expect to be that bad. Its really dawned on me how unfit I am. My shot-stopping was decent when i was in goal second half but I should have done better with atleast two of the goals. The first goal of the second half I just pushed the ball up in the air and someone headed it in on the goalline and I should have came for the ball from a corner but instead I stayed on the line and someone headed home from about 6 yards. Overall it was an enjoyable game, although my body probably wouldnt agree with that at this moment in time. Cheers for the boots Maybes.
Alexikokopops Posted 27 January 2008 Posted 27 January 2008 I have photos. Lots and lots of photos...
Guest Posted 27 January 2008 Posted 27 January 2008 Here is a selection of my pics. The rest are on me Facebook page. Here is the big kick-off. A near miss. The O21 subs warming up (damn digital zoom) The bumper crowd get behind the teams More goalmouth action... Some dodgy geezer
Tevez Posted 27 January 2008 Posted 27 January 2008 I have photos.Lots and lots of photos... Facebook?
Finnegan Posted 27 January 2008 Posted 27 January 2008 Ssssh, don't listen to them.I got grief off Finners for some of my decisions. Pesky Welshman.... That's because they were fooking awful! Who was it Tom started abusing on the line in the second half? That was comedy.
Joe. Posted 27 January 2008 Posted 27 January 2008 That's because they were fooking awful!Who was it Tom started abusing on the line in the second half? That was comedy. Or, maybe, just maybe they were actually offside
Finnegan Posted 27 January 2008 Posted 27 January 2008 Or, maybe, just maybe they were actually offside You're either a cheating bastard or you need a loan of my glasses, son.
Manwell Pablo Posted 27 January 2008 Posted 27 January 2008 You're either a cheating bastard or you need a loan of my glasses, son. It's my fault really should of got someone else to do the line. And I forgot to have the "don't make any stupid descions make sure there is clear daylight" chat with the Linos.
Manwell Pablo Posted 27 January 2008 Posted 27 January 2008 cheating linesmen ruin the game! I'm quite gutted I missed this little exchange.
