FleckneyFox Posted 31 January 2008 Posted 31 January 2008 Whaley would be awesome. Clapham not greatly inspiring but we could do with an experienced left back.
MikeyT Posted 31 January 2008 Posted 31 January 2008 Why does everyone seem to know who Whalley is except me?
lookwhaticando Posted 31 January 2008 Posted 31 January 2008 Why does everyone seem to know who Whalley is except me? Maybe they're just pretending to know... Maybe they googled him, or they just looked for his wikipedia entry. It can be done, it takes less than a minute, and can make you seem more knowledgeable. Just don't go overboard with the 'knowledge' or someone will expose you for the fraud you undoubtedly are.
RowlattsFox Posted 31 January 2008 Posted 31 January 2008 Cardiff have turned down a bid from us for Paul Parry, according to my Cardiff fan friend. Not normally one to make things up.

dandannieldanok Posted 31 January 2008 Posted 31 January 2008 Cardiff have turned down a bid from us for Paul Parry, according to my Cardiff fan friend. Not normally one to make things up. I'd rather us get Parry than Whaley tbh, although Whaley has age on his side.

Ashley Posted 31 January 2008 Posted 31 January 2008 I've mensioned Whaley on here before he'd be a good signing for us and add a little bit more pace to our side.
MikeyT Posted 31 January 2008 Posted 31 January 2008 There is.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Simon_Whaley I couldnt find him because i spelled his sirname with 2 L's!
Lester LXXIV Posted 31 January 2008 Posted 31 January 2008 Out of the 2 we've been linked with, we get the shit one! .. C'mon Whaley, sign for City!!
The Reverend Posted 31 January 2008 Posted 31 January 2008 Whaley would be a fantastic signing- proven at this level, has pace, can run at defenders and has a decent goalscoring record for a winger (around one in every 6.6 games), which equates to about 7 goals a season. He was integral in PNE's play off places 2 seasons running, along with Nugent and McKenna. 1.5 million is a lot of money, but a season and a half ago, he was un-buyable for Championship clubs. If you're asking who i'd rather have over Whaley and Norris - it's Whaley. As hard working as Norris is, he is'nt a flair player like a Whaley is, and doesnt carry the same goal threat, or pace.
