The fightback was very promising. It shows the lads have the stomach for this battle. With the games in hand and the quality we have, I'm quite optimistic we should be OK.

Still no points in the prediction league for me though... :(

Same, I have never ever predicted right. :(

Well - its good that anyone up to around 15th place is still in with a chance of relegation so we certainly arent the only team looking below us..

were it not for the fact that most of the teams around us grabbed last minute equalisers today it wouldnt have been to bad at all..

That goal seemed to act like a rocket up Conolly's ass.. after his goal he unselfishly set up Hughesy for the equaliser. I hope he can bag another 10 this season  and help us finish mid table..!! lol

We haven't got an easy run in at all!! And it seems as though we are incapable of getting a win these days. I undferstand that Levein hasn't got the best players to work with, but we need to be more positive going forward.

Good Luck Craig and the boys! We can do it but we need to roll up our sleeves and get stuck in. Great fightback today, but it would have been three points if we'd have turned up in the first half. THESE GAMES ARE NOW MASSIVE for us!

I hate this season! And we still need another forward at this club!

I agree we have a tough run in - not exactly what u want when ur fighting relegation - our run in is...

West Ham (A)

Millwall (H)

Wolves (H)

Brighton (A)

Wigan (H)

Sunderland (A)

Leeds (H)

Plymouth (A)

[also Derby (H) in between there somewhere...)

west ham are having a bit of a torrid time of late, so maybe we can get our first league win since gillingham back in january against them on friday night... having said that, we always have been good at breaking people's ducks  fingers crossed eh?

OK with my honest cap on I think the games I've emboldened are games we should get good results from, that run of 3 games looking particularly important. Win 2 of them plus a few draws and we should be OK.

We are probably in with a shout against Plymouth and Brighton...but I don't see us beating the others. Unless Levein can convert Draws into wins we are in trouble...

On the bright side the queue for a pie at half time will be shorter next season...

*Uncontrolable Sobs*

I reckon we'll pick up around 8-10 points in the remaining games, which will take us to 51-53 ponts... we should be safe, but it'll be a tense end of season for sure.

Wigan & Sunderland could well be promoted by the time we play them, so may, unconsciously take their foot off the peddle a little like we did when we went up

the big problem for us is away were in play off form but home were showing relagation form. look at the games left, forget who the games are against, the majority are at home and that is the major worry to me.

Exactly - our away form is pretty poor too. If it was play off form we'd still be in midtable mediocrity not a relegation dogfight. :ermm:

Bloody worried now - 2points clear thats nothing! We wont get anything from West Ham we never do, could have done without Gillingham winning. Can we really get out of this?

Hahaaa I suggest the people that posted on this thread last night read this whole thread again from start to finish. Quality.

Levein and Connolly go from scum to heroes.

I think we need to take a reality check here, we have been behind Levein from the start and everyone has accepted that he's re-building and things might get worse before they get better. With the players he has, we shouldn't be where we are in the league but it's common knowledge that sometimes teams under achieve and especially when your in a major process of changing things at a club.

I'm fully behind Levein (support wise) and I will be until he proves to be tactically inept and not the right man for the job. For years now, this club has been run incorrectly and it's caught up with us. Short term fixes haven't worked, at best that will get you a promotion now and again, but no real stability. Levein has picked up on this, he's answering alot of questions the fans have been wanting to know the answer for years. For the first time in a long time, i'm excited at the signings our manager is making, excited at some of the football we play. I also feel part of the club as a fan for the first time in a while, Levein tells us as it is and doesn't tend to keep things from us like Mickeh often did with his strange interviews.

It's essential we focus on the long term future, let's be patient. We have everything to look forward to because let's face it things can't get much worse than what's happened this season. Paddy McCarthy, Steven Hughes, Stefan Moore and Alan Maybury just look at these signings. We haven't had many young and hungry players sign for us for years and everyone of them look quality, so let's just chill out abit.

We aren't going to go down, we have 6 homes games next month and although there's a myth our home form is relatively poor, I guarantee we'll win atleast half of our remaining home games. 1 win is all we need to get the team believing they can win again. Confidence has been a major problem at this club for years, it takes time to eradicate deep routed problems and it's unfair to shoulder the blame entirely with Levein.

Hat's off to the man, he's brave enough to really change this shambles of a club and i'm happy for him to carry out his work. So Chandler, FNQ and any other cock rockers who struggle to understand that when you are completely re-building something things aren't instantly successfull it's going to take more than slagging off Levein to change my mind. We might be 'caught' up in a relegation battle at present but I have every faith in Levein and the players to battle through it. If they do battle through it, it will be one of the first steps in terms of galvanizing this team that Levein is piecing together. Levein will use every trick in the book to succeed at this club, he's a born winner.

Levein till I die.

Levein is not scum, he's just not good enough.

Give me your reasons why he isn't, taking in to consideration that when you first arrive at a new club with the intentions of re-building it, that it takes time to become successfull. Look at Burley at Derby, Moyes at Everton, etc.

Levein's record before he came here is excellent, so your reasons will be interesting to read. I do remember you as an Adams lover to the hilt, so I can understand why you feel threatened by Levein.
