You're fed up for a week, you slag off the other chairman - then you move forward. This was not about that. This was someone who continually and specifically told us he would never leave, up to and including the day before he did. We all thought he was he mutts nuts, we trusted him - and ultimately we felt betrayed. Many of us spoke to him, shook his hand, looked into his eyes and believed it. So maybe part of it is about us feeling stupid that we bought into it all. Another thing - half the problem with being an Argyle fan is this - we have no one to hate ! No one at all. Exeter and Torquay were never big and now are both non-league. Bristol City have other fish to fry. And that's it ! Can you imagine how difficult that is, being a footie fan ? Imagine for a minute there was no Forest, no Derby, no...errr...Nuneaton. So when someone like Holloway or Joe Kinnear turns up, we simply have to make the most of it. Ollie does so much work for people with this disadvantage, and admire him so much for doing it. What cunt would mock someone over a disability they feel very strongly about, just for joining another football team? Its football. Leave it at football. They've lost the plot. I quite agree and feel I must apologise for their disgraceful behavior. I think these people (they are not fans) should be banned from every forum and from attending matches
David O'Leary Posted 9 February 2008 Posted 9 February 2008 hardly crime of the century is it ( indeed the abuse is not directed at his father) he writes about truth, honesty and integrity and the influence from his father, and its plain to those fans that he is just being hypocritical , don't worry to much about ollie's feelings, i'm sure he'll cry all the way to the bank but he''ll get over it So you would rather have have a big fat cheque over your dad?
