Brainy Posted 13 February 2008 Posted 13 February 2008 Do you think he'll stay if his three year plan fails?
davieG Posted 13 February 2008 Posted 13 February 2008 I've posted it in another thread but I think it's worth another airing. Can't see what there is to be happy about.

Something the Mercury should borrow. As if! The more fitting because it looks a bit like an American Paddle Steamers of the kind they used in the film Maverick. Seems quite appropriate somehow.
Zingari Posted 13 February 2008 Posted 13 February 2008  love that pic (pity as a team that we are so sh*te , that this is the only thing we have to cheer us )
He's not bald Posted 13 February 2008 Posted 13 February 2008  love that pic (pity as a team that we are so sh*te , that this is the only thing we have to cheer us ) Shit, hope we win the toss on Saturday and play toward the kop in the first half, hey we might even score and the pitch will now drain properly!
Darkzzz_ Posted 13 February 2008 Posted 13 February 2008 That Picture will worm its way on to my mobile later!! Thats unless you do me for copyright...
Staf Posted 13 February 2008 Posted 13 February 2008 I actually dont think he will leave i think he will stay one season in league 1 and see if we get promoted or nor and if we dont he will leave
acooling08 Posted 13 February 2008 Posted 13 February 2008 milan would loose A LOT of money if he left so no
Zingari Posted 13 February 2008 Posted 13 February 2008 milan would loose A LOT of money if he left so no Milan "the real deal" Mandaverick knows when to quit he might be thinking he'll lose more if he stays
Ultra Posted 13 February 2008 Posted 13 February 2008 He's holding out for some sort of return on his investment. Whether that comes from promotion to the top flight, or (far more likely) selling up to a consortium prepared to meet his asking price, remains to be seen.
Bryn Posted 13 February 2008 Posted 13 February 2008 He's made some woeful decisions in his time here. But at least he has stuck his hand in his pocket. When he says he's given his life to the club in the last year I actually believe him, which is more than can be said for Ollie and the players when they come out and say something. Half the time it washes over me, or I don't believe it.

I bet he wishes he went Wolves!!!

I'll lay money he hasn't used a £1 of his own cash.* I'll be betting that all the money spent is via loans secured on the club that will be transfered over to whoever he sells up to, if they are prepared to take it on. Don't rule out the possibility of a 10 point deduction taking place some point over the next 24 months *not my money, I've learned from MM
shiv Posted 13 February 2008 Posted 13 February 2008 Do you think he'll stay if his three year plan fails? dunno... eggertson said west ham would have champions league football in 5 years and then he fooked off after they nearly got relegated... depends on how fed up he gets!
demon_dog Posted 13 February 2008 Posted 13 February 2008 I've posted it in another thread but I think it's worth another airing. Can't see what there is to be happy about. Oi, my arse is getting wet, anyone got a bucket. Our Goalie is wet behind the ears.
Lester LXXIV Posted 13 February 2008 Posted 13 February 2008 dunno... eggertson said west ham would have champions league football in 5 years and then he fooked off after they nearly got relegated... depends on how fed up he gets! Eggertson was only the "face" of the deal, apparently he had all the contacts and experience but actually the main investor has remained at the club.

Daggers Posted 13 February 2008 Posted 13 February 2008 Given our past history and what happened to Leeds, a 10 point deduction would be considered by many to be quite a light punishment. Who knows where it will end? But I am certain that if we continue in our current fashion then anyone remotely thinking about buying us off MM will simply sit it out and watch until we enter administration before picking up the club with restructured debts. He needs to start spending his money wisely or giving serious consideration to pulling out sooner rather than later.
davieG Posted 14 February 2008 Posted 14 February 2008 Reading the Ollie out rumours this morning makes the Mercury 3 day spread look like some sort of piss take. Merc Headline. MANDARIC ANNIVERSARY: A REVOLUTION HAD STARTED! Some fooking revolution all we've revolved around is the relegation places.

Just on the manager contracts alone, we'd go into administration...fact is, apart from loans taken out against the club, what has Mandaric done for City? Apart from make us a laughing stock...?
