purpleronnie Posted 15 February 2008 Posted 15 February 2008 I recently found jeff astles world cup shirt from the 1970 world cup presented to me after winning top goal scorer in 1986 by the man himself. Jeff was a special guest of our team and came to present the trophies every year. Unfortunately I had chucked it in the loft and there now is some damage to the shirt, I remember being mad at the time because I wanted a trophy, the stupidness of youth eh? I'm thinking of auctioning it off.

I also have a photo of him presenting the shirt to me. I just wish I had contacted him before he passed away.
