Well done mate.

I failed my theory this morning. Passed the multiple choice with 48/50 but failed the hazard perception with 42/75, only two off a pass as well. :(

Well done you 3 who have passed

And just to add my usual post, still not sent off for my provisional yet.

:giggle: Do it, you won't regret it.

Thinking of starting now all of my mates can drive and I feel like a cripple. Can anyone recommend a decent/cheap instructor?

Depends on the area you live in really.

Don't go with the British School of Motoring (BSM), they're very expensive and take you through too slowly.

Live in Birstall. Ideally want someone cheap, don't want to spend too much on lessons.

It's not really something you can do on the cheap.

Most people need around 25 lessons, some people have less whilst some have more. Most instructors charge between £18-£24 but you will find it cheaper if you book a block of lessons rather than just singular ones.

You'll need a Provisional license if you don't already have one.

The tests don't come cheap either. It's £56.50 for your practical test and £30 for your theory.

I know it costs a fair bit over time but £18-24 per lesson isn't too shabby. Thought it'd be more to be honest.

My advice is to not go with one of these national instructors, like SamL says, they take you through at snails pace, i would try and find the best local instructor.

Best off asking around, try family and friends.

Aye, it's not too bad really. It just depends on who your instructor is.

You should be able to find one pretty easy.
