act smiley Posted 7 July 2008 Posted 7 July 2008 Depends on the area you live in really. Don't go with the British School of Motoring (BSM), they're very expensive and take you through too slowly. BSM, and other chains, are incredibly hit-and-miss - due to moving I went through a couple of instructors, including a BSM guy who was really good. However, a mate who learnt with a guy from a different BSM branch had some less positive things to say. The reason they tend to go quite slow is they get a bonus based on number of first-time passers. You're right about the price, though. Can't believe prices are still £18-24, mind, they were in that range when I learnt to drive 2-3 years ago!

Samilktray Posted 22 July 2008 Posted 22 July 2008 Still not sent off for my provisional. I encountered this problem, bloody thing. And my attempts at getting my parents to loan me the money for a car on two occasions failed. Now I'm gonna miss out on the two cars i found... Diddums.
