Thracian Posted 15 March 2008 Posted 15 March 2008 Sounds like we've had our early chance and missed it - again. Hayles this time.
Jack Posted 15 March 2008 Posted 15 March 2008 Sounds like we've had our early chance and missed it - again. We need to put these chances away, especially against West Brom else there is only one way it will go
Thracian Posted 15 March 2008 Posted 15 March 2008 Scunny winning - nothing like encouragement as we go along.
Flynny Posted 15 March 2008 Posted 15 March 2008 I disagree with that, i think Hume is an intelligent footballer, makes the right runs etc.... certainly i dont think we've got many more clever than Hume... but is that a bad thing? Maybe. I still think Hume should be there. Be interested to know what you think his weaknesses actually are then, because if his decision-making and positioning weren't absolutely appalling the bloke'd be fantastic and would have been bought off us long ago.
Thracian Posted 15 March 2008 Posted 15 March 2008 Big chance after all the free-kick practice they've done - Fryatt gets a strike on goal but misses the target.
Fox in a Box Posted 15 March 2008 Posted 15 March 2008 Unfortunately Fryatt is no Scholes. This smacks of Holloway's approach away at Burnley with eight defenders. he maybe today?...but no he's not a ginger!
Father Ted Posted 15 March 2008 Posted 15 March 2008 Take the piss all you like. I just hope you're not laughing on the other side of your face if when the season ends we're down because we haven't scored enough goals or played enough people to provide them. I was only having a bit of a laugh but I actually think that if we had the delivery of Shush! we would definitely create more chances but he is a defensive liability.
Thracian Posted 15 March 2008 Posted 15 March 2008 Third dead ball kick into the area. Still no return despite an Oakley shot this time.
Thracian Posted 15 March 2008 Posted 15 March 2008 Last ditch McAuley tackle. West Brom midfielder not closed down 1-0 and sounds as if the overcrowded central defence is making a contribution. Can you change a manager at half-time?
Jack Posted 15 March 2008 Posted 15 March 2008 Game Over Now. Just watch the goals start flowing. 5-0 them.
MikeyT Posted 15 March 2008 Posted 15 March 2008 Game Over Now.Just watch the goals start flowing. 5-0 them. Yep unfortunately i agree!
Fox in a Box Posted 15 March 2008 Posted 15 March 2008 its not over till the fat lady sings.... mind you it 3 mins thru the track...
Thracian Posted 15 March 2008 Posted 15 March 2008 If he wanted to have a"holding" formation he needed five mobile players in midfield to strangle attacks at source. Does everything need explaining to our so-called professionals? Two goals needed for victory now. The sooner he changes the whole approach the better. Even Walshie couldn't believe our starting line up but daren't quite say so.
Jack Posted 15 March 2008 Posted 15 March 2008 Plan A gone. Is there is a plan B? Stick every striker on we have and ATTACK
