Vestan Pance Posted 21 March 2008 Posted 21 March 2008 Why doesn't your letter mention the incident when Barry saved that Shark from drowning at Weymouth Sealife Centre?
Daggers Posted 21 March 2008 Author Posted 21 March 2008 Why doesn't your letter mention the incident when Barry saved that Shark from drowning at Weymouth Sealife Centre? If you were considering sending a letter in support of my request then maybe you could include that anecdote. Surely, not even the minions of the UN could remain impartial and unmoved in the face of such a heart-wrenching tale.
Alexikokopops Posted 8 April 2008 Posted 8 April 2008 Any news from the UN? I've only just noticed this, it all happened when I was in Spain.
Daggers Posted 8 April 2008 Author Posted 8 April 2008 Any news from the UN?I've only just noticed this, it all happened when I was in Spain. Dear Mr. Somethingopops, Thank you very much for expressing interest in the United Nations International Day of Barry Hayles (UNIDBH). Unfortunately the United Nations (UN) have failed to reply thus far, and support from Leicester City Football Club (TWATS) has been muted. A plan of action has been drawn up by the Committee for the Creation of a United Nations International Day of Barry Hayles (CCUNIDBH). Firstly, a demand is being sent to the Olympic committee that Barry Hayles be allowed to carry the torch up until the start of the Olympic Games (OG). Also, a giant lifesize inflatable Barry Hayles will be visiting schools across the country giving free rides to classes, promoting understand of the life-saving work that Barry Hayles does across the globe. All children will then be encouraged to write to the Make-A-Wish Foundation (MAWF) asking for a Team of Barry Hayles - what, with it being their dream and all and everything. I find it impossible to conceive that both the UN and TWATS will not be moved by CCUNIDBH and MAWF into prompt action and it is anticipated that UNIDBH will take place on April 15th as planned. One sees it as highly possible that life size Barry Hayles effigies will be carried shoulder high to Barnsley. Yours sincerely,
Daggers Posted 15 April 2008 Author Posted 15 April 2008 Happy International Day of Barry Hayles everyone

Vestan Pance Posted 28 April 2008 Posted 28 April 2008 I've heard a whisper from a chap I met whilst shopping, He called himself Dr Srgjan KERIM. He tipped me off that International Barry Hayles day has been pencilled in for Sunday 4th May, that's right, the same day we play the biggest game in the clubs history. Now, can this be a coincidence? Can I trust a Doctor that shops in Aldi? Any news Disco Bob?

Kilworthfox Posted 28 April 2008 Posted 28 April 2008 He probably has - my wife is a bit of a slut. I no longer wish to have Barry's babies, however if he keeps us up I will open up to the idea again
Daggers Posted 28 April 2008 Author Posted 28 April 2008 I've renamed my daughter 'Barry' and my son 'Hayles'. It makes sense when I call them and the dog in from the garden. The dog has been renamed 'Geta****ingshifton'
