I'm not saying we will make it to the play-offs, I'm not saying we are a great or even a good team, I'm not saying that there is no chance we are going down, I just have a little belief in our manager and some of the players that they will be able to save us... how is that deluded!?!

I can see we are in real trouble and relegation is a VERY real possibility BUT I can see a light at the end of the tunnel... something that you lot don't quite seem to see... or even WANT to see by the sounds of it!!!

What resources?!?

He came in in November and had to make do with a shit team. He then proceeded to sign a few decent players in the transfer window but the vast majority of the team is still VERY poor...

Milan isn't handing out money like there is no tomorrow and so he HAS had a limited budget to sort out a team that needs A LOT of work. I would say, to get us back to being a decent team, AT LEAST £20 million would be needed as there is SO MUCH work to be done...

No other manager would have done better and I will stand by that belief as I just can't see how they would have with the obscenely CRAP players we have to see week in week out!

Far more resources than any manager since Taylor, he also has all the back up staff he needed. The vast majority of the team is now of his choosing, he's signed 10 players. He's probably got one of the top 10 budgets in the league if not higher.

You cannot for one minute state that no otther manager would have done better it's a total unknown, but even Megson was doing better with the shite that he had which Ollie has had at £2mill+ to improve on.

He is vastly under performing even by his own standards and own admission.

Yes... and I see how poor we are... BUT that we have enough in us to stay up!

I can clearly see we are in deep shit and I don't need you to tell me!!! But what I object to is the utter rubbish some of you insist on posting such as we are the worst team ever and it's all Ollie's fault!!! HOW!?! Ollie himself admitted that the team played shit and lets face it, he didn't ask them to play like that did he!!! The players are the ones we should be directing our annoyances on and not the manager who although hasn't had the best start to his career here is just about keeping the team up who were on a slippery slope down before he came here. Yes, we've played shit under him but this team would under ANY manager so why the **** do you keep going on about it being Ollie's fault!!!

I am not deluded you plank, I'm just trying to remain positive and get on with what we have... Ollie, given time and the right team is a good manager and why everyone seems to think otherwise just because he can't make Leicester Shity play well ALL the time is beyond me...

You also go on about how you want us to be playing well enough to just stay up, well... we do very well on occasions but LIKE EVERY OTHER TEAM AROUND US, we play shit more often than not!!! YOU are living in cloud cuckoo land if you think that we could play well every week... I'm just not worried yet as I can still see us surviving and I don't see the need for all this pessimism about our chances of survival...

You're such an extremist.

First of all, saying Ollie shouldn't be taking any of the game is absolutely crazy. For a manager that has gone on constantly about wanting to put square pegs in square holes, playing Fryatt and Hayles on the wing is absolutely diabolical. Add that to him saying he wouldn't let Kisnorbo take free kicks in advanced positions, yet he is still doing that. Then the whole service to Howard thing. Can you please explain to me how that is not any fault of his own? It shows a lack of authority over the players, or just sheer idiocy.

I don't think we could play well every week, beleive me I've watched us play 38 times this season and I know what we can get from this team. Performances like yesterday will not see us achieve anything close to what we are capable of.

I do beleive that Ollie can turn this around, but he has to shoulder some of the blame. That I thought, was plainly obvious to everyone.

But then how would you know that a few more months with Megson in charge, he would be doing any better... I can see your point about not knowing whether any other manager would be doing better but then how can you say that Megson was doing better when he was only in charge for a few weeks!?!

The TEAM is vastly underperforming, even with decent tactics, and Ollie, although has to take the blame as he is the manager, can't be held responsible for players just not performing on the day...

I agree that he has to shoulder some of the blame as I have said that at times, his choices haven't been that great... and I will say that some signings haven't been too hot either BUT the amount of blame that is being heaped on him is FAR too much... he is doing some good things but when the players perform like ours do, there is little you can do...

Meant to say take the whole responsibility but how can he take the blame? If everything is going well on the training field and he sets out tactics that ought to work, why then can the utter rubbish that the players give on the day be his fault? :dunno:

I don't see how Fryatt and Hayles - Two of our slower players - being played on the wing is decent tactics. Especially when he preaches about getting the right sort of service to Steve Howard.

I agree that it is a bit odd but then I do say that some of his decisions are... but then we managed 30 crosses in the match. :dunno:

When I was a manager in a business it was my responsibility to get the best out of them, no excuses were accepted the buck stopped with me because that was what I was paid for.

It was my role to ensure that nobody under performed and just as importantly the people under me worked as a team and complemented each other. And no I didn't get to pick that team and it was far harder to get shot of someone than anything Ollie's had to deal with.

Statistics don't lie but I like to see what they constitute as a cross and where from. I can't remember more than 5 occasions we worked the ball wide and the delivery was half good.

30 crosses, about 2 of them with any decent quality. With one person in the box to aim at.

Yeah... hence the :dunno:

That is something else that needs to be looked at... which I'm sure will be addressed this week but we can't lose heart just because of one dire performance. Maybe they got carried away with last weeks win...

Maybe, maybe, ****ing maybe.

They're professional footballers.

The likes of N Gotty, Clemence, Hayles, Oakley and Howard all played in teams that were winning games last year. They should know not to get carried away with anything. We were poor against West Brom before the sending off, I'm sure Ollie knew that as well. Getting carried away after another unexpected win is unacceptable and shows a lack of professionalism.

This is the irritating thing that you and Filbo don't seem to be able to grasp, it's not the defeat in itself it was the abject performance that led to it and there have been far too many of them

Why don't you listen to what your leader is saying; just in case you've got your blinkers on I'll make it large and in colour.

To be honest, I don't really care anymore.

I enjoy going to watch coalville and have a few beers there, it's cheaper and you get told to sit down by stewards or hear everyone around you moaning.

For me, football is about going for a laugh with your mates, if the games is good and we do well it's a bonus, but I'm not fussed if we win lose or draw, unless i bet on it :P, I just go for the laugh now.

I do feel sorry for the people who do go, but if you buy a season ticket you need to be prepared to endure poor football, its not like it's a shock, we have been a poor championship side for a good few seasons now.

My advice, drink as much as possible before the game, it makes it more enjoyable. :P:thumbup:

Unfortunately it is not just 1 dire performance it is 1 dire performance after another. What the hell does he get them doing on the training pitch? he has had weeks to address things but he isn't upto it.

Since we played Blackpool away we have scored only 2 goals against the opposition when they have had 11 players on the pitch. That is what will condemn us to 3rd tier football.

A clown for a manager and clowns for players.

How right you are. It would be a start if Holloway actually followed his own propaganda. But he doesn't and in some instances, the effect is almost like playing a man short.

I dont give a fcuk about Hull City's current form etc..

If we play like that next week,we wont even beat Scunnie.

Absolute garbage.

Really was an embarassement.

Hoofing it just about sums us up!

Apart from Hendo, noone came out of that with much credit.

As its Easter, some of them fcukers should be crucified!!!

Hope the people with the vouchers enjoyed it...or did they all leave after the 2nd goal!!!!

(No offence to anyone!)

I was at a wedding in London so knew nothing about the game other than my mate who had my season ticket texting me the scores.

I logged on here to get the real reaction to how bad it was......and without me even noticing you have all turned me to drink. I don't normally drink at home, but without thinking, I started downing Stella.

All this does really is crank the pressure up for Saturday. We really don't do nervy games well and we don't play the sides below us well though so for the life of me I hope we score first next week or it could be one of the worst 90 minutes we will ever sit through.
