That maybe so but you CANNOT expect him to come in to A SHIT TEAM and all of a sudden make them start winning!!! WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE!!!!

Just because we have a new manager in DOES NOT mean that we are going to suddenly turn into a great team... the same shit players are still at the club!!!

For God's sake... you seriously need to think before you post as its just UTTER SHITE you are spouting at the moment...

Do you think a profligate use of caps lock coupled with random insults lends anything to your post?

Is this just ANOTHER thread to piss me off!?!

Seriously... fook off and watch some football before you come on here and start making such IDIOTIC statements like Ollie is the worst manager ever....

He blames the players because, guess what, THEY ARE TO BLAME!!!

Would Hollow take the praise if we we doing well? ?

Are Man U a decent side because of Fergie?

Did MON get the credit when he took a bunch of nobodys and created a decent side?

Of course the managers to blame, he has taken a decent bunch of players and made them poor.

He may not be the worse manager ever, but he's down there.

The job is too big, small time player and small time manager.

We're not expecting a 'great team' just one that looks like it knows what it's doing can score a goal at home, pick up enough points to keep us away from the relegation zone, a bit like we were before he took over.

Oh dear God... you think we were good enough before he took over!?!

All credibility in any of your posts has just been lost as we were clearly WORSE than we are now before he came....

And you are clearly someone else who thinks that we are a big team then!?! GET REAL... we are small, crap and are playing just as our position suggests we would be.

I am merely trying to put across my annoyance at your posts as I just get frustrated by them and how negative they are!

nNo we weren't good enough but we we doing better than we are now, we were 17th in the league then currently we are 21st.

Please spare me any more of your naïve and blind optimism.

I'm not in the mood for inadequate assessments of our current situation.

And yes... Most of us do think before we post. Which cannot be said of you, because you keep repeating it over and over without wanting to see the facts.

Grow up and face it, kiddo.

(It's only meant as a help)

I see the facts but I realise that they mean little.

1. We are in the relegation mire... I accpet that, what I don't accept is that we are down yet or that it is looking like we won't when there are 6 games left where we have games against poor teams around us that we could get wins in.

2. Ollie's record isn't good... but then how can you expect it to be when he is in charge of a team full of poor players or players that just aren't performing!?!

Aside from that, it isn't an inadequate assessment of our situation... its a realistic one. WE CAN stay up and hopefully will. Glass half full...

Oh come on... how can you POSSIBLY know whether we would be out of the relegation places now had Ollie not been in charge or Allen or Megson stayed!?! You're using guesswork to compare the situation and that, as we all know, can't be done in football as nothing is certain.

Holloway has taken over a shit Championship club and has kept them a shit Championship club.

David Pleat took over a club that were promotion favourites and lead us to our closest flirtation with League One (Or Div Three as it were in them days).

Peter Taylor took over Martin O'Neill's highflying side, spent £23 million pounds and began the rot we're currently seeing now.

What the fuck does it matter what Holloway has won?

After reading the comments on here this is the one i agree with the most!!

I realy don't think anybody could rescue this stricken ship!! :frusty:

It's only football...

People need to calm down

Fair point... there is more to life than a shit football team... we are just passionate fans. :)lol

I'm not saying we would but I'm accepting the fact that Ollie has taken us down the league.

We were higher up the league before he took over that is an unarguable fact not guess work.

The point is they are not a team of poor players look at their pedigrees, collectively they are significantly better than the majority of clubs in this league. Yes they are under performing and it's Ollie's prime role to get the best out of them both individually and the way they perform as a team. He is failing to do this.

But that was in an earlier stage in the season... now had Ollie taken over last season at this point and we were 17th THEN I would agree that we had gone down in the league but basing it on this season only really doesn't work as we might have been in this position anyway had Ollie not been in charge at this point...

It needs to be relative to something. We are worse than last year at this point, but its not all Ollie's fault as he has only been in charge since November...

Granted, Ollie should be getting the best out of them, BUT, if the confidence is low and it keeps getting knocked back with every defeat, it's going to be hard for any manager to turn it around.

Yes, we are good on paper... but we need to make sure that we turn it around to being good on the pitch and the players have to realise this just as much as Ollie.

Holloway must take a large share of the blame he's bought a lot of new players in ( half of which don't get a game ) & has failed to improve us since taking over. His position is becoming hugely under threat. If we can't get at least 7 points from our 3 remaining home games then we deserve to go down & he deserves the sack.

You look at the teams with tiny budgets & wage bills at the top end of this league & our situation is hugely embarrasing for everyone concerned with the club.

The manager is responsible for the team, the tactics, the confidence, the attitude, the substitutions and and change of tactics he decides to implement.

This is his team, his players and if he chooses to adopt a negative 4-5-1 formation with no pace, no specialist width and which doesn't ever seriously put the visiting back line under pressure he's always likely to lose and he can expect the flak and deservedly so.

I'll be amazed if he's still in charge come Wednesday.

:giggle: Keegan looks to be giving him a run for his money.

You needn't worry about Keegan. Even the nightmare start he's had he seems to have got the team playing with a bit of swagger. As I've said elsewhere it's not all about results, it's about moving forward. And I for one would have loved to see Keegan here.
