Hollohead quite possibly the worst of all time

The managers at Leeds and Forest were not given the money to rebuild the squad that Mandaric has given to Holloway. So they were able to pass the blame onto previous regimes. Holloway won't have this excuse.

Look of the other teams in this league who have pulled clear of relegation despite spending far less than he has. Preston, Burnley, and Norwich are examples, together with Palace (under the guidance of a certain N. Warnock).

Why have they and many other sides outperformed us? The suspicion is that Holloway is a Kevin Keegan-style manager who goes with his heart rather than his head. That approach, in the modern era, can only take a team so far.

Holloway's been relegated before from this league, and may well be adding another drop to his CV soon.

Thats the point which you've totally missed, the incoming manager like the new one at Leeds and Forest, like Kelly after Levein, Like Worthington after Kelly, wont have any money either. Well, wont have the oppurtunity to spend it at least.

Norwich is a very poor example. They're about as shit as they have been for years and aren't safe yet.

We could sit here pulling up examples of clubs who have benefitted/not benefitted from sacking a manager there a perfectly good examples for each (again another point I was trying to make which you've totally missed) the question is is it right for this club, at this point in time.

I admit I don't know, as previously said I can't see past us having four managers in one season as anything short of a joke.

Not as much a joke as spending £11m+ in a season, and still being relegated in the lowest standard Championship in years...

Holloway's chosen not to use Gradel and instead tried three players (Bori/Hume/Etuhu) who were never going to present his threat out there. Big mistake.

Bournmouth- Tranmere.................

The Cherries were much the better side throughout the game, even though Rovers did try and press for an equaliser.

Tessem fired wide after an excellenet move which was started by Franks, resulting in a cross from Gradel.

Different level, but a cross is a cross

That maybe so but you CANNOT expect him to come in to A SHIT TEAM and all of a sudden make them start winning!!! WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE!!!!

Just because we have a new manager in DOES NOT mean that we are going to suddenly turn into a great team... the same shit players are still at the club!!!

For God's sake... you seriously need to think before you post as its just UTTER SHITE you are spouting at the moment...

These so-called shite players (Neilsen, Douglas, Hammond, Hellings etc) how many games have they actually played for us this season??

The players we have used this season have either A) been consistantly used over the last couple of seasons or B) been signed by Ollie over the january period.

Only N'Gotty, Clemence and DJ were signed before Ollie arrived and have been used on a regular basis since he came. So if anybody refers to the hungarians (has they havent adapted at all to the english game) then I make that bad judgement on Ollies part.

"Its not the manager, its the players" So whats actually being suggested? We get rid of our first team players the ones who are out there week in, week out not picking up the points, not putting in the results and just not giving a shit. Yes i'd agree with that. While we're at it sack Ollie too. Oh don't forget the backroom staff, I mean lets face it we've been in a crisis since O'Neill left so it must be the fault of anybody thats been here for longer than 4 years right and whoever has joined our club since this point is just adding to the problem.

As somebodies post says, 'Nobody from Mandaric down knows how to sort this mess out' so lets get rid of everybody and start from scratch!!

no where near as bad as peter taylor

ollie hasnt spent 5 million on a striker who only scored 9 times in 55 appearances

super steve has got 6 in about 18 appearances so he didnt make a mistake in buying him

If we do go down under Holloway for me he has to be the worst of all time.

His tactics have been bemusing and strange at the best of times, his signings on paper have been good but the team still isn't up for it.

He isn't as bad as Taylor or Pleat yet, but if we are relegated he will be.

What really got me was the way Taylor kept picking up job after job. There was always someone lef who seemed to have faith left in him.

Perhaps he simply presents the acceptable face of football or something equally inconsequential, I don't know.

Give me a Bill Shankly any day.

From England U21's to Stevenage. At least he's found his level at last!!
