Guest Posted 25 March 2008 Posted 25 March 2008 --------------------Hayles---------------Hayles---Hayles -----------Hayles-----Hayles---Hayles Hayles ---Hayles---Hayles----Hayles----Hayles Now there's a team we can all appreciate Kinda difficult to say what I'd go with this week but I'm thinking maybe Hendo Stearman Mcauley Kisnorbo Clapham Hendrie Oakley Clem (if he's fit) / Weso (same) Mattock Hume Howard Bench - King / N'Gotty / Hayles / Chambers / Fryatt
Tevez Posted 25 March 2008 Posted 25 March 2008 Hendo Stearman McAuley Kisnorbo Clapham Hendrie Oakley N Gotty Mattock Howard DJ
SamL Posted 25 March 2008 Posted 25 March 2008 Hendo Stearman Bruno Kisnorbo Claphham Hendrie Weso Oakley Mattock Howard Hume Subs:- Mcauley, Fryatt, Ash Chambers, Clemence, James Chambers
Sir Alex Ferguson Posted 25 March 2008 Posted 25 March 2008 people putting 'Weso' in their side is fair enough i suppose but he is never fully fit, i don't think we can take this risk at a critical point in the season such as this!
Uncle Albert Posted 25 March 2008 Posted 25 March 2008 people putting 'Weso' in their side is fair enough i suppose but he is never fully fit, i don't think we can take this risk at a critical point in the season such as this! Can see what you are saying but with Oakley's performance on Saturday and Clemence seems way out of sorts, this could be the perfect oppourtunity for Weso to take and to cement a first team place.

I can see your point but we've got to change the team after Saturdays dreadful debacle. I feel it's time for one of the younger players to step up and make a name for themselves.
Micky Ruddle Posted 25 March 2008 Posted 25 March 2008 Munday Bandele and Carl Fletcher up front for me. Quality.
Thracian Posted 25 March 2008 Posted 25 March 2008 people putting 'Weso' in their side is fair enough i suppose but he is never fully fit, i don't think we can take this risk at a critical point in the season such as this! Is Clemence fully fit after his lay off? Or Hayles having started two matches in who knows how long? Or Fryatt who's hardly been overworked. And what about Etuhu? How many 90 minutes has he played? Or Hendrie for that matter and Mattock? Truth is there's always excuses for not playing Weso or King or Beswick and always people who say "it's an important match use the experienced campaigners." Why, when it's our mostly experienced players who keep getting beaten?. As for risk it's not Weso, King and Beswick who have presided over our plunge down the table into the relegation zone. They've not been involved, apart from Weso briefly in the victories over Cardiff and West Brom and King way back in the away draw with Norwich. Big risk they sound. Nor did they play last March when we failed to win a game the whole month. Both times we mostly relied on seniors, both signed and on loan. Both times we ended up in the same situation at the bottom end of the table as a consequence. Weso, by contrast, kick started our revival when he returned for a few games at the time of Levein's departure and Kelly's appointment. The sooner he's back in action the better. The same goes for King cos we'll have more chance of scoring.
danny. Posted 25 March 2008 Posted 25 March 2008 I'm confused why Etuhu is getting in loads of teams here, he was CRAP on saturday, on the other hand Bori has always played very well and never so much as given a ball away that I have seen. I don't understand why he is being left out. Lackzo is very hot and cold but Bori has always been quality - strange!
Father Ted Posted 26 March 2008 Posted 26 March 2008 my team for scunny would be:Henderson Stearman Macauley Kisnorbo Clapham Hume (right side) Mattock (left side) Hendrie Oakley Howard Dj Campbell its the best from an 'out of form' good bunch if that makes sense at all! Sir Alex Ferguson on Foxestalk!
reynard Posted 26 March 2008 Posted 26 March 2008 For me this is simply a MUST WIN game. So we need to look to having as many attacking/scoring options as possible. GK Henderson no other choice really LB Not sure here. Has to be one of clapham or mattock probably just in favour of mattock CD Probably have to stick with Kisnorbo (sometimes a threat at set pieces) then a choice between N'gotty and Mccauley. Rb has to be Stearman who can at least give an attacking option of sorts. Lm real problem here. we need width and pace and movement so I'd take a gamble on lazcko at least to start with. Hayles looks like other option. Cm Nightmare decision. 2 from hendrie, weso, clemence and oakley. Hendrie has to play for me as he is the most attacking option. Both oakley and clemence hve been very poor so might go for weso but is he fit? Rm Again another problem. But for me we need as much width as possible so it has to be one of etuhu (with instructions he needs to defend as well everything else) and Bori. At a push Hume if fit Strikers Has to be Howard and Hume if fit. They are our two leading goalscorers and Hume's movement off the ball will Help. If not fit then DJ? Subs Depending on who's playing we must only have 1 defensive player on the bench so n'gotty for that role. then 1 of oakley/clemence/weso and then 3 from bori/hayles/fryatt/dj and any striker on the books who knows where the net is. I think he will stick with 4-4-2 but maybe we should try 3-1-4-2 with clemence or weso just in front of a back 3 of stearman n'gotty kisnorbo??
The People's Hero Posted 26 March 2008 Posted 26 March 2008 This club has been going down the pan since Tony Cottee rode off in to the Sky Sports branded sunset with Lee Philpott under one arm and a fake christmas tree under the other.
ousefox Posted 26 March 2008 Posted 26 March 2008 GK Henderson brilliant and would keep in team when alnick comes back LB mattock CD kisnorbo and Mccauley. Rb has to be Stearman as chambers does nothing except from pass it to the nearest player Lm hendrie Cm clemence and oakley. Rm etuhu aslong as he doesnt put crosses over evry1s heads all the time Strikers Has to be Howard and Hume if fit. They are our two leading goalscorers and Hume's movement off the ball will Help if we dont win we are relegated!!!!!!!!!!!!
scrivins2 Posted 26 March 2008 Posted 26 March 2008 I wanna see a diamond again, personally. Henderson Stearman - N'Gotty - Kisnorbo - ClaphamWesolowskiBori ---------------------------------MattockHendrieHume - Howard Something like that. no not wesolowski he is s**t
GianEmmo Zola Posted 29 March 2008 Posted 29 March 2008 Henderson Stearman NGotty Kisnorbo Mattock Etuhu Hendrie Clemence Oakley Bell Howard Mcauley, Wesolowski, Campbell, Fryatt, Hayles
Candidcamera Posted 29 March 2008 Posted 29 March 2008 Hendo Stears McAuley Kisnorbo (bad game last week IMO) Mattock Bell Hendrie Oakley Clemence Fryatt Howard I would have played Hume but he's obviously not yet fit.
Father Ted Posted 29 March 2008 Posted 29 March 2008 Henderson Stearman Mcauley N'gotty MattockBell Oakley Hendrie EtuhuDJ Howard Subs: Kisnorbo, Weso, Clapham, Hayles, Fryatt
Thracian Posted 29 March 2008 Posted 29 March 2008 Now it seems that Clapham and Hume are unfit the team for me would be: Henderson; Stearman, McAuley, Kisnorbo, Mattock; Wesolowski, King, Hendrie, Campbell, Howard, Beswick. subs: Chambers, Bell, Oakley, Etuhu, Fryatt/Hayles. Won't happen mind. He'll have Clemence and Oakley in the centre, Hendrie on the left, Bell or Etuhu on the right and two up front.
