The only goal of those which stands out for me was the Andy King effort. Class goal.

He should start more games. Thracian, back me up here please!

I'm fighting a losing battle and so is he. Apart from some of his shooting he's not a spectacular looking player and, as has been continually demonstrated, he's so easy to overlook in favour of people who are honestly not as effective. Beswick is the same.

King also suffers if he doesn't get games. Okay, most players suffer but King is not especially fast or physical and unless he's at full fitness he tends to fade a bit over the last 20 of 90 minutes.

For me there are far more aspects to his game than some of our other midfield players but he remains under-utilised and underestimated.

He could do with playing for someone like Crewe, a footballing team who will play him, surround him with players who will feed off his swift passing and who will compliment the many other good things that he does.

I had hoped he'd have team-mates around him this season like Gradel, Porter and Weso but we're no nearer a genuine pass and move unit than we were than we were this time last year and with the reserves programme being so disjointed too I don't see any of the main youngsters have progressed much under the new regime, apart from Stearman and maybe Gradel - both, ironically, because they've had regular games and been given some responsibility.

Here's a sobering thought ... Marton Fulop has the same number of Championship assists to his name this season as Matty Fryatt.

Take off Clemence's six assists and the now departed Shush!'s four and you have 16 players together making up just 20 Championship assists for the season...or 1.25 each.

Not a lot for the money in 36 games is it?
