They are in the bottom 3 and on the verge of Administration apparently.

If they lose the next game, will the board do a Leeds and opt for Administration this Season to prevent the chances of going into League 1 with a -10 on the board?

For a club that is £35 million in debt and rising, and has dwindling home attendances because our board members and club employees are STILL suing some of its own supporters, £2000 is money we could very much have done without losing.

I appreciate a rule was broken and we deserved to be punished but do remember only 4 players made a contribution to the game in question.

Having said that, you still broke rules irregardless of how many players contributed during the game. By giving only a £2k fine what kind of message does that send out to other clubs, Stoke for example could have done the same thing in that game and Won and only suffered the same 'punishment'. In fact, there would be nothing to stop them doing it in all of thier remaining games if it improves thier side and gives them a better chance to win as an £8k fine would be easily wiped out if they won Promotion!

It certainly allows clubs to have a better selection of 'quality' subs to choose from, always assuming your loanees are better, not something LCFC have managed too often

Regrettably it still is. It's a disgrace, incredibly petty and like you say it's biting the hand that feeds you. One of the main men behind the action the CEO is actually a PAID club employee. As far as I'm concerned the sooner the remaining board members that signed the legal papers and CEO are gone the better. I know a number of people who no longer attend games and won't attend again until they are gone.

I can understand your situation. Hopefully it won't be, but at the end of the day it could easily end up being either one of us that takes the drop into League 1. I think there should be some sort of announcement and official punishment setup by the relevant authorities to prevent it happening again in the future. Any fine greater than what Leeds suffered at this point in time would have been harsh and unfair IMO.

Several fans were sent legal papers for comments made on our fans forum about our ex-chairman Dave Allen, and our CEO Kaven Walker that were allegedly libellous. The number of people who were originally served these papers was well into double figures. The majority were thrown out by the court because the comments were either deemed unnecessary of court action, or the fans apologised for what was said. I can't go into details but having seen some of the comments that were deemed offensive enough to go to court over, IMO it is incredible that action was taken.

As far as I'm aware the club are still suing one fan. I'm not sure if he is still the only one it may be more. The man they are suing is well known by the club, has donated money and raised money for the club on several occasions, and has dedicated numerous hours of his own time to help Sheffield Wednesday. He is currently in hospital suffering from cancer. As well as having that horrific burden over his head he has the possibility of losing everything that he and his family owns for voicing an opinion about his club and the people that are/were running it.
