Maybes Posted 13 April 2008 Posted 13 April 2008 They now tend do let them run around the pitch as I think they're told to. I think it's done because if the stewards chased him around the pitch it could make things worse. They only stepped in when he went near the benches. But if he runs on with a knife and goes to one of the players? Not going to do much good then is it? At least they will be seen to be doing their job by ejecting people for persistant standing.
Tevez Posted 13 April 2008 Posted 13 April 2008 Ok but it just doing my head in that people are calling Mac when they don't know him and the effort he puts into Supporting Leicester . Been to every game this season then?
Maybes Posted 13 April 2008 Posted 13 April 2008 Been to every game this season then? Prepare to be heckled

blueoveru Posted 13 April 2008 Posted 13 April 2008 The trouble with this thread is that the are many sides of the equation whether or not Macs a complete and utter idiot or not does not matter, and yes there are elements that could concievably turn out to be very nasty, but in mitigation dont you all at some point over the last sad 4 years have thought of doing the self same thing, all because you can see the cause is being lost by unprofessional footballers being paid good money but, only doing a half-hearted job, I know I have. It is wrong we all know it is wrong but how can we legitimatly get across our feelings when no-one wants to listen, or get the piss taken by the Birch or Barber. Believe me theres something radically wrong from top to bottom with our Club but we'll never be able to find out just exactly what is wrong.
Ultra Posted 13 April 2008 Posted 13 April 2008 Love this approach to football. Pay 20 odd quid to sit there shouting SHIT! all afternoon. What a great way to spend your weekend. Is it any different to watching it?

The ones not on the pitch are the ones with the voice in their heads saying "hey that's a fookin stupid idea"
Webbo Posted 13 April 2008 Posted 13 April 2008 I think people are missing a serious point here, we were breaking forward when that pissed up twat ran onto the pitch and the ref had to stop the game. He broke up an attack from his own team, that's how much he cared the f@cking @rsehole. Those who took part in the pro-Holloway chants today were a DISGRACE. They belong at Forest or Cov! You really do talk out of your arse.

Mac's protest was impassioned but ultimately rather foolish. It makes no sense to acquire a criminal record on behalf of these fcukwits.. The club is not just decaying, but putrefying before our very eyes. There's no-one there (except maybe a couple of ticket office staff and some of the youth players) who can be respected for what they have done this season. The chances of any improvement under the current regime is less than zero. The worst thing is, some sections of the fanbase clearly do not understand what it'll mean next season when the name of our city is bracketed with such notorious football hotbeds as Cheltenham and Milton Keynes.
the beange Posted 13 April 2008 Posted 13 April 2008 can see why he did it being a supporter of a club in lets face it real danger at the minute, but it really isn't gunna help matters really.

I don't understand you! You have thrown the towel in and we still have it in our own hands.
Simi Posted 13 April 2008 Posted 13 April 2008 I don't understand you! You have thrown the towel in and we still have it in our own hands. No we don't.
JoeyB Posted 13 April 2008 Posted 13 April 2008 An Empty season ticket was a bit pointles tbh tho' should of got the ball and put it in the net and showed DJ how to do it while being onside.
Simi Posted 13 April 2008 Posted 13 April 2008 Of course we do 3 games to go But if Sheff Wed win tomorrow, we're back in the zone. Also 3 points behind Wednesday if they win. A win against them would only draw us level with them. Barnsley 4 points clear of us as well. We'll need Cov and Blackpool to carry on dropping points.
the beange Posted 13 April 2008 Posted 13 April 2008 the worst thing about our position in the table i think is that we are relying on other people to lose games other than us winning them. it shouldnt be like that.
Raj Posted 13 April 2008 Posted 13 April 2008 I heard the bloke shouting and singing old time songs( ie Iwan is a wekshman!) earlier with his mate(wearing a whiteish top!). Think he's about 40 odd and actually seemed to be half decent! I aint getting into @Is he a twat or not' he did what he did and has to live with it..personaally if it means getting a life ban,i might try it too!!!!! BUT as his mate went for a coffe or piss he started walking down the stairs towards the pitch, his mate just stood there wndering what he was doing,as im sure they both decided to go for a drink or whatever. Anyway he just casually walked down the stairs as if he was going to talk to someone he knew,2 stewards actually got up,he went to the right of them as if sitting down, jumpe over the advertising hoarding and job done!
