leeleic Posted 14 April 2008 Posted 14 April 2008 We have to do better than one of the 4 or 5 teams currently just above us.
Koke Posted 14 April 2008 Posted 14 April 2008 These games can't come quick enough. This will be a long week dwelling on what ifs, maybes, and buts.. I can't wait till the season finishes.
leeleic Posted 14 April 2008 Posted 14 April 2008 A win against Barnsley and a draw against Sheff Weds could be enough. And how realistic do u feel about that?
davieG Posted 14 April 2008 Author Posted 14 April 2008 A win against Barnsley and a draw against Sheff Weds could be enough. Could be but at the moment even that looks beyond us, these teams maybe crap but when you see how determined Sheff weds were tonight compared with our lot those results look like a pipe dream.
Webbo Posted 14 April 2008 Posted 14 April 2008 And how realistic do u feel about that? I think a draw against Sheff Weds is almost a certainty.
leeleic Posted 14 April 2008 Posted 14 April 2008 if Blackpool only get a point from their last 3 (perfectly possible) we'll stay up. I reckon it'll be them or cov that go down, we've just got to pull our fingers out, i don't care if the lads aint all season, the next two games will do nicely!
Mark Posted 14 April 2008 Posted 14 April 2008 I think a draw against Sheff Weds is almost a certainty. It's all set up for them to break the football league record of 8 draws on the trot against us. (Wednesday drew their 7th tonight)
leeleic Posted 14 April 2008 Posted 14 April 2008 I think a draw against Sheff Weds is almost a certainty. I agree about the wednesday result, we'll either win or draw, but what about barnsley? We've supposedly got a good record against them at their place.
Webbo Posted 14 April 2008 Posted 14 April 2008 I agree about the wednesday result, we'll either win or draw, but what about barnsley? We've supposedly got a good record against them at their place. I hope so, I'm hoping to go.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 14 April 2008 Posted 14 April 2008 I think Wednesday were slightly unlucky not to win tonight. It was a lot like some of our recent home games. I also think it comes down to whether we get 4 points from our next 2 games. Anything less than that and I don't think it's going to end well.
DanTheFoxBhoy Posted 14 April 2008 Posted 14 April 2008 A fixture I had forgotten (Blackpool v Sheffield Wednesday) and the fact Plymouth have to play both of those teams makes this even more fascinating.I think we are capable of doing it if we get 4 points from our next 2 games. Anything less than that and I think we are down. Yeah that's my thoughts too after having calmed down from the circus that was last Saturday.
leeleic Posted 14 April 2008 Posted 14 April 2008 I hope so, I'm hoping to go. I'd love to go, i really would but i don't think i can! Its a shame cos i really think that they're gonna need us sat! its a 2 and 3/4 hour journey for me though! and thats just there!
FleckneyFox Posted 14 April 2008 Posted 14 April 2008 I think a draw against Sheff Weds is almost a certainty. We seem to have a knack of breaking these unbeaten runs (Norwich & Palace) we'll do the same to Wednesday
C-man Posted 14 April 2008 Posted 14 April 2008 We seem to have a knack of breaking these unbeaten runs (Norwich & Palace) we'll do the same to Wednesday We have a knack of breaking our own unbeaten runs aswell. We're brilliant at that!
Chairman of the Bored Posted 14 April 2008 Posted 14 April 2008 Cov have the hardest run-in. We have the softest forward line, but win at Barnsley and we'll be safe, albeit not mathematically. If they get a result against Hull tomorrow they'll be as good as safe, will be knackered after so many recent games and will be there for the taking. If Ollie picks the right team we will win. There lies the rub. mind....
