It's quality in the fact that it is humorous (both players would get crucified by O'Sullivan), and I also want Steve to win.

It's certainly entertaining.

Once Selby gets into his stride, I think he'll be in with a shout of winning it. First frame today, he was immense. You can easily see the great confidence he's playing with at the moment.

I get at least 5 frames tommorrow, it's going to be a close finish. I'm glad I didn't pick the Williams match. I think I'll be the only fan without a pacemaker & a walking stick

I bet fiver on Selby to win (11/2)

and 2 squid E/W on Ebdon at 25/1

If Selby wins he plays Ebdon next

Cheers! >_<

Selby looking awful, improvement needed.

EDIT: His games evaporated this morning, if he doesn't sort it out he's going out.

Lost all 4 frames this morning. He looks on the way out and I was going to back him for an unlikely comeback (losing 8-5) but at odds of 5/2, no thanks.

Well he is the comeback king aint he so you wont get good odds.

He's going to have to sort himself out over the mid session though otherwise it's good night.

He is capable alright hence looking at the odds but having to win 5 out of 7 is a tough ask and 5/2 is pi$$ poor odds. At 5s I would take a gamble so I`ll be searching for better odds as I type.

9-7 King.

In the 18th Frame now and down to the last 3 colours with the score at 48 Selby and 27 King.

So King needs a snooker.

EDIT: Selby has won the frame! 9-8 Come on Mark!

Selby is OUT!

Shame really, I felt this could have been his year.

He struggled for consistency throughout. Some of his play was breathtaking but some of it was very sluggish.

Good luck to Mark King in the next round.

He was never going to win it this year.

Fook Mark King, he is 1st Prize Bellend.

Considering he got to the final last year, I thought he was in with a chance. Some of his play was very impressive. We'll never know now just how far he could have progressed.

:giggle: What makes you say that?

What he said about Ronnie O'Sullivan. And having a boxing fight with another snooker player.

Say no more.

Thats a fair point, can't disagree with that.

I don't particularly like him but I think he's played some good snooker so far.

Nah he's played some adequate snooker. Selby was just garbage for the first 4 frames this morning and handed him a three frame lead.

King deserved to win , Great value for money, £12 for 9 frames

Worth going then?

I'm definitely going to go next year.

Did you wear you City shirt in the end?
