Shrew Posted 16 April 2008 Posted 16 April 2008 A friend and I are going to be heading up from Cornwall for the Sheff Wed game. As this will be my 1st WS visit, I was just wondering what peoples views are for the best place 2 sit with a bit of atmosphere and obviously a good view of the action, preferably somewhere behind the goal or on a corner!?also was wondering about parking near the ground? If anyone can pass on their views it would be greatly appreciated!
Bert Posted 16 April 2008 Posted 16 April 2008 If you want View, then probably the East stand, as you might catch some of the atmosphere from L1. But if you want behind the goal with a bit of atmosphere probably best to go for the Kop.

You get a good view wherever you sit, no pillars or anything. There is a car-park near the ground on Raw Dykes Road, or you could try Morrison's. If you want to sit in the corner area you shold have not trouble getting a ticket there.
Guest Posted 16 April 2008 Posted 16 April 2008 I'm moving my ST seat from the east stand to the Kop for the last game and next season as I'm fed up of the moaning, and want to sing without being tutted at and looked at like i'm an imbecile. So basically, I'd avoid most of the east stand and the library (west stand)

The best place for atmosphere is L block but that's season ticket holders only, so either K block or the Kop. I'd say the Kop has the better view though, but less of an atmosphere. You've got to compromise.

If you get here early enough there's plenty of on street parking off Narborough Rd.

Flynny Posted 16 April 2008 Posted 16 April 2008 Ask for tickets high up in block K if you want atmosphere and a good view. I don't sit there myself anymore but thats for completely different reasons.
