Guest Posted 19 April 2008 Posted 19 April 2008 This is where you are wrong. Thye have one very important purpose. To make my summers a terrifying experience. I think I have some kind of weird sense for them too. I know when they are around. If they move, and I'm in the room, however obscure an angle they may be relative to me, I know.Oh, and top marks on running the marathon, I hope you raised what you were hoping to. Thank you! I'm nearly there! As for the arachnids, I know what you mean. I can spot a brown spider on a brown carpet within 2 seconds. Other people are quite impressed, but do find it hard to persuade me to climb down from whatever thing it is I have jumped on to.
James. Posted 19 April 2008 Posted 19 April 2008 I've said it before on here but it's worth reiterating. Whoever said spiders are more scared of me than I am of them is talking shit.
Joe. Posted 19 April 2008 Posted 19 April 2008 80-something minute free-kicks when your side is 1-0 up.
Guest seanfox778 Posted 19 April 2008 Posted 19 April 2008 My car not making it all the way to Leicester next Saturday, i have little funds so i'm buggered if it breaks down.
the_bowman Posted 19 April 2008 Posted 19 April 2008 Bridges Don't know why, but I'm really bricking when I'm walking over them
Guest Posted 20 April 2008 Posted 20 April 2008 I've said it before on here but it's worth reiterating. Whoever said spiders are more scared of me than I am of them is talking shit. Isn't it something like 9 out of the 10 most poisonous creatures are spiders? Yet people think my phobia is irrational? I'm looking out for number 1 here.
Daggers Posted 20 April 2008 Posted 20 April 2008 The sister-in-law is scared of fish. The large tank in the middle of Nottingham really messes with her head when she goes shopping. And this other girl, she was scared of holes. Holes in cheese, holes in the road. Holes. I was in this curry house with her when she started screaming and then went catatonic because she'd seen a kebab scewer hole in her chicken tikka. For real. Madness gone mad.

AoWW Posted 20 April 2008 Posted 20 April 2008 'Losing' someone who means a lot to you and feeling powerless to do anything about it.
4 Kinell Posted 20 April 2008 Posted 20 April 2008 The woods at night. Sometimes. Especially if there are bears with the runs in there
Daggers Posted 20 April 2008 Posted 20 April 2008 Being lost and drunk in a City and being told that there are no fast food restaurants.
SamL Posted 20 April 2008 Posted 20 April 2008 1) Relegation 2) Dying 3) Losing somebody close to me.
AoWW Posted 20 April 2008 Posted 20 April 2008 1) Relegation2) Dying 3) Losing somebody close to me. Good to see you've got your priorities right.
SamL Posted 20 April 2008 Posted 20 April 2008 Good to see you've got your priorities right. I should have put 'In no particular order'. I'll never forget how I felt after Colchester scored last week. The thought of relegation actually scared me.
