Alexikokopops Posted 24 April 2008 Posted 24 April 2008 Right, I know that to qualify for an under 8/16/22 season ticket you need to be under those ages on the 1st of September. Is this the same for being a student as well? I'm a student until the end of September, I want to exploit it as much as possible and get a student ticket next season.

But this one counts, as it's my final year.
Filberts lovechild Posted 24 April 2008 Posted 24 April 2008 They never ask, just pre-book your tickets and pick them up on the day My mates a student and I used to borrow another mates card so I could get cheaper tickets, but they never ask anyway so I don't bother anymore
Daggers Posted 24 April 2008 Posted 24 April 2008 I think it is absolutely shocking that anyone that is not a bonefide student should try to claim to be a student just to elicit a reduced priced season ticket.
Alexikokopops Posted 24 April 2008 Author Posted 24 April 2008 Do it anyway. They don't give a ****. They never ask for any ID in my experience. I know they don't if you're buying a match ticket. It's all to do with the academic year.I will be a student next year. But this one counts, as it's my final year. Rats. I'll try and swindle it.

I do that Always buy student tickets whenever available, and I'm 24. Never had any troubles - I don't think they give a shit.

Koke Posted 24 April 2008 Posted 24 April 2008 Ah, but the key thing here is season ticket Mis-read it. My bad.
Master Fox Posted 24 April 2008 Posted 24 April 2008 I've been running in on a fox cub for years. Easy.
Milky Posted 24 April 2008 Posted 24 April 2008 Ah, but the key thing here is season ticket Showing ID for the season ticket depends on who you get at the counter. It's about 50-50 chance i'd say.
Manwell Pablo Posted 24 April 2008 Posted 24 April 2008 I had a student ID with no expiry date at Huddersfield, fuking awesome it was. Then, like a twat, I lost it.
Shrenchel Posted 25 April 2008 Posted 25 April 2008 I'm sure it'll be fine. The ticket office don't really seem to know what the rules are themselves. Even if they turn you down, go back 45 seconds later wearing a cunning disguise and they'll probably say yes.

Surely they would for if you went to buy a season ticket? I have a student season ticket. I didn't have an NUS card at the time of buying so I just got a letter from my uni saying I was a student, which I neede to show. I think my gf paid £180 for my ticket in E2
Rocky Dennis Posted 25 April 2008 Posted 25 April 2008 Can someone please tell me? Why do Male students wear flip flops all year round??
Scow Posted 25 April 2008 Posted 25 April 2008 I tried to claim some sort of refund on my season ticket this year because I went back to uni last September - unfortunately the ticket office weren't having any of it. Bastards.
Daggers Posted 25 April 2008 Posted 25 April 2008 I have my student ticket for next year all paid for.
FilboFox Posted 25 April 2008 Posted 25 April 2008 Can someone please tell me?Why do Male students wear flip flops all year round?? I don't but I have seen some... bloody fools! I wouldn't even wear those stupid things in summer!
Koke Posted 26 April 2008 Posted 26 April 2008 Stereotypes are great. So you drink whilst walking around in your flip flops? Its okay, mate. Its okay.
Scow Posted 26 April 2008 Posted 26 April 2008 So you drink whilst walking around in your flip flops? Its okay, mate. Its okay. Well, if I do, I don't remember.
