That's an intriguing question, the morality of which I was discussing with my wife at lunch today. I put various scenarious to her and we rather disagreed on the question of what was acceptable. I said I saw no reason two teams shouldn't agree a draw if it was for their mutual benefit. A club exists to do what is best for itself and if that end is guaranteed by both refusing to score then other affected teams can only really blame themselves for not getting more points on other occasions. My wife said this was morally wrong so I cited the idea of two teams being in the bottom three of the Premiership and someone like Chelsea putting out a shadow team for one match and their full first team for another. I said if any club did that at the expense of my team I'd do anything I could to respond pro-rata at a later date. But she said this was morally acceptable if the club had a "more important game" because they weren't agreeing a result and, presumably the shadow team would be trying their best. I insisted the weak team couldn't possibly do their best with a reserve team out. We never did agree. Unfortunately I cannot see how a point would necessarily help us at Stoke.

It would help us if Southampton gain 2 points from their last 2 games.

I can't stand them personally. They always cause trouble at our place and their ground is far from friendly either. Worst fans in the division along with Cardiff IMO.

Worst fans in the division along with Cardiff IMO. maybe the hardcore away lot (but all clubs have them), but when i go to watch games at the brittania they're all jokers, very friendly. i suppose it differs who you meet/where etc

Anyway, ask me this time tomorrow and I'll have slightly more of an idea. Personally I think we will lose at Stoke and it will all be down to whether Southampton can beat Sheffield United.
