lavrentis Posted 29 April 2008 Posted 29 April 2008 I feel disgusting saying it but I agree. I hope they hammer Southampton. haha, Imagine that Blades save Wednesday's championship status.
tartanowl Posted 29 April 2008 Posted 29 April 2008 That's interesting, I hadn't spotted that. Regardless of what Southampton do if Sheffield Wednesday lose then we only need a draw to stay up. That's correct and I'm terrified. Us losing, you drawing, and Southampton winning isn't an unlikely sequence of results. That would send us down. However on the positive this game will be the biggest crowd this season in the CCC. Tickets are selling fast. It will be even bigger than last Saturdays attendance. We'll have huge numbers cheering the boys on, and we've beaten Norwich home and away in our last 5 meetings. This would be the most important one though.

Partly due do the fact you've cut your ticket prices to £10 for adults
tartanowl Posted 29 April 2008 Posted 29 April 2008 Partly due do the fact you've cut your ticket prices to £10 for adults That will definitely be a factor but I think the fact that certain people may be leaving the club very soon will also be a big reason for the rise in attendance. If we survive I am very confident of a successful year next year. Next season will be a new dawn for Sheffield Wednesday Football Club I hope it is in the CCC.

To be honest I hope you stay up becuase you are a good club. I hope we can stay here with you, however unlikely it may seem Comon' the blades, sort them sarferners out and send them down!
Zingari Posted 29 April 2008 Posted 29 April 2008 strange that our fate is in the hands of 3 teams who play in red/white stripes maybe its just me that thinks its odd

I wouldn't be too sad to see you go, I've had enough of you at the Walkers
sainthuddy Posted 30 April 2008 Posted 30 April 2008 Saints fan here, imo saints will beat Sheff utd because Beattie has pulled out because he dosent want to score against us and send us down and Sheff utd will want us to win so there will be a good chance Sheff Wed will go down.

They will be trying to win. 4) You're going down

Koke Posted 30 April 2008 Posted 30 April 2008 I can just imagine it. We are losing 3-0 and Saints are drawing 1-1. We are so depressed. Disco Bob and Kilworth have already committed suicide in the stands. Scoweh is drinking himself to death. And Lisa has collapsed in tears. Then in the 95th minute news come through that none of than Keith Gillespie score with a toe poke. And then in the summer, we change our kit to red & white shirts and re-name our ground to Gillespie Lane.

FilboFox Posted 30 April 2008 Posted 30 April 2008 COME ON LEICESTER! Thought I might add that we ought to be cheering on OUR team as well!
Basingstoke Fox Posted 1 May 2008 Posted 1 May 2008 COME ON LEICESTER!Thought I might add that we ought to be cheering on OUR team as well! We are, weve got a great chance of making the playoffs! From an outside view, Im sure Leicester will be fine, Leicester are a great team with the best support in the league, the support against Chelsea, Barnsley and the stupid owls was great!
Fat Ron Posted 1 May 2008 Posted 1 May 2008 Am I the only one who thinks pretending to support Sheffield United is getting irritating now? Yes I want them to win on Sunday but only to save our arses, I couldnt give a **** if they make the Play Offs or not. I agree that changing the Foxestalk logo to Bladestalk was amusing, even the threads about our 'new' team to begin with but seriously... move on
