boothenend Posted 3 May 2008 Posted 3 May 2008 i don't know about you but i'm crapping myself,i havent been asleep for a few days i'm that excited/nervous.it would be good if we drew and we went up and you stayed up,but if you go down then good luck.
Corky Posted 3 May 2008 Posted 3 May 2008 We are both on the verge of history, only we don't want it. I wish you all the best, I think you will go up, but hopefully we survive.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 3 May 2008 Posted 3 May 2008 Come on Sheff Utd and an away draw at Stoke!
thecannon Posted 3 May 2008 Posted 3 May 2008 I can see us get a win at stoke! We won at West Brom 4 1 beat Bristol 2 0. So you never know. Leicester's the kind of team that will get something up there! And yes i am shi**ing me self! I am proper nervous! WHOEVER'S GOING, GET BEHIND THE LADS!!

Leicester's the kind of team that will get something up there! And yes i am shi**ing me self! I am proper nervous!WHOEVER'S GOING, GET BEHIND THE LADS!! after last weekend's debacle I will be genuinely shocked if we get anything against Stoke - all the Holloway fans and 'keep the faith' merchants should be taking a long, hard look at themselves with embarassment - the only hope, for me, tomorrow is for Holloway to do the decent thing and to drop the big plank (Howard) and then to resign straight after the game, win or lose. Stay up or not, we must rid ourselves of the journeymen and give the youth a chance next season. Most of us could see that the style and standard of football we were playing under Holloway even after only a few games was not gonna be good enough, its just a shame that he has had so long Of course, as a City fan of many years I hope we stay up, but this season, and particuarly under Holloway has been a complete waste of time and money. That said, I'll be glued to the box tomorrow and hoping for the best and wish them good luck

Thanks for your thoughts Stokie! You've been knocking on the door of the Premiership for two or three seasons now and I hope you make it (admittedly not at our expence but thats our fault not yours). I think Tony Pulis deserves it at well, from a friend who knows our Gerry Taggart to speak to (I believe Taggs didn't let you down either), Gerry speaks very highly of Tony Pulis as a man manager.

Thanks, May the best team win Actually no may Leicester win
Staf Posted 3 May 2008 Posted 3 May 2008 Cheers mate i hope we win obviously but also i think you will go up even if you lose because to be honest i cant see Hull getting a win Ipswich who need a win themselves so ye good luck but please le us win

Foxes never quit..this is our most important game ever!..the time for pissing about and joking/speculating/hoping/praying and wishing is gone..this is it..everyone has to be 100% behind the team now regardless of what we think!
FoxesRoyal Posted 3 May 2008 Posted 3 May 2008 Well said he's not bald we need to be behind the team 100% like you said though the players have got to give it all to beat stoke but like they say miracles can happen and hopefully one will be tommorow!!!!
Joe. Posted 3 May 2008 Posted 3 May 2008 Well something's going to happen that's for sure. There's no way that either Stoke don't go up or we don't go down can both happen so we're in for something. I'm just praying it's not the latter

To drop him in favour of say, Matt Fryatt, would be both absurd and insane (which probably means that the manager is guaranteed to do it! ) The sad thing is, Stoke will be promoted whatever the result today. I doubt whether Hull have what it takes to win at Ipswich.
lcfc_jme Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 You're one of the more love-able Stokies, like Phil Taylor and Adrian Lewis. I am genuinely hoping that your team can be as nice to us tomorrow / today (doesn't feel like Sunday, I haven't been to and can't sleep) as you have been during your stay here. Oh, and there is also the small matter of the Mighty Blades pushing on with our pursuit of the playoffs under our very own King Kev. Come on you Blades!! I'm fucking scared. Very. Here's to hoping.
Prem Express Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 The sad thing is, Stoke will be promoted whatever the result today. I doubt whether Hull have what it takes to win at Ipswich. Yes we have. Don't worry about us, just worry about 3 points for yourselves.
Father Ted Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 Howard is our best hope of a goal tomorrow. I doubt whether Hull have what it takes to win at Ipswich. Get lost. Howard - hope of scoring - get real!!!!! We have Hume. Even Henderson has more chance of scoring than the fat b*stard has. And we have Campbell sitting on the bench week in week out, but when he is playing he's scoring goals!

renards Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 Bazza and Hume would be the wild card. Brave but I think its our best option Stearman as CH I can't see it happening. Usual big hoof, we need to pull a suprise out of the bag
josh_baskin Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 I seriously dont care about how good Stoke are on paper or how bad we are. I dont care about all the gloating Forest fans I work with laughing at me saying I wont find 3 points in there, everytime I look in a draw or cupard for somthing. At the end of the day i know i'll still be sat in the corner of the kop come rain or shine even if we have 11 wheelie bins on the pitch playing for our great club in League 1. But i think its time we pick ourselves and stay focused cause i know we are far capable of putting this thing to bed today at 2pm!

Lamby Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 Do your job and win, Southampton and Sheff Wed and we beat Coventry...Coventry go down..simple as!
Matt Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 Do your job and win, Southampton and Sheff Wed and we beat Coventry...Coventry go down..simple as! Yes please.
Lamby Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 Yes please. If we do, singing 'Shalalalala We sent the Coventry down' would be the highlight of our poor season
Matt Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 If we do, singing 'Shalalalala We sent the Coventry down' would be the highlight of our poor season Sorry, try being in our position though, I'd be fecking ecstatic in your position.

That was very funny considering the predicament we're in and how nervous I'm feeling!! Anyway, that's the spirit. I'll be renewing again next year. Come on you City!
Lamby Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 Sorry, try being in our position though, I'd be fecking ecstatic in your position. We probs will if we carry on playing like we have next seaason. And we were the favourites to win the thing aswell
