I know 4 where signaled but I'm sure that only 2 where played and that there ref blew early because of the Stoke fans running onto the pitch. I'm not moaning and will accept if I'm wrong but I'm sure there were about 2 minutes left to play no? Someone help me out please?

Corky Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 We didn't play the four minutes of injury time, only about two. The ref was concerned about another pitch invasion probably. We wouldn't have scored even if we'd played the four, it was one of those days.

I rekon the numpties ran onto the pitch with at least 2 mins left, then the chicken ref bottled it and did a runner. Who knows what might have happened in the 3 mins we were owed. Phil

There were literally seconds left when their fans ran onto the pitch. Cannot blame their overexcitement, at that point they knew they were up and it only took one person for everyone to charge on. They were massing around the edges for a couple of minutes before that though - stewards/police should probably have realised (although that was a lot of fans to deal with).

Yes some games we've played OK but the majority have been shite. We've been too inconsistent and don't deserve to have stayed up.
