Sniffer-Clarke Posted 5 May 2008 Posted 5 May 2008 Acccording to RL this morning MM is willing to stand down as chairman and let someone else take over but he also said he would not let the club go into administration. And if there is anyone on the forum who reads the SUN have a look at the Steve Howard colume this morning he says all our problems are basically MM fault. And the Monday night "moan in" should be very interesting tonight with " Derby man Barber and sit on the fence Birch "

C.J Posted 5 May 2008 Posted 5 May 2008 Derby man barber dont work for radio Leicester anymore m8. Plus being a bank holiday there probably wont be one on.
mat_j101 Posted 5 May 2008 Posted 5 May 2008 I very much doubt Milan will sell the club now. He would make a huge loss. It has to be beneficial to him to try and get us promoted, and sell then if hes fed up. If he has an ounce of business acumen he will not sell now. Unless hes just very pissed off!!
Daggers Posted 5 May 2008 Posted 5 May 2008 Acccording to RL this morning MM is willing to stand down as chairman and let someone else take over but he also said he would not let the club go into administration. He said that he was not going to rush into any decisions. Stop making stuff up.

I strongly suspect you're a Plymouth fan. You've had your fun why don't you p1ss off.
Free Falling Foxes Posted 5 May 2008 Posted 5 May 2008 Last week was last one There IS a Wake - sorry, moan-in tonight.
Ultra Posted 5 May 2008 Posted 5 May 2008 I remember Mandaric explaining why we didn't sign Fulop. Apparently "sources in the game" (the manager?) had advised that he wasn't good enough for the Premier League. Unfortunately too many of the players we did sign weren't good enough for the league below. If he does sell up, I hope he makes the club available on the same generous terms on which he bought it.
dandannieldanok Posted 5 May 2008 Posted 5 May 2008 If he does sell up, I hope he makes the club available on the same generous terms on which he bought it. Although I desperately want him to go, I can forsee any prosepective buyers to just be another clueless foreigner or even worse a clueless foreign consortium. Bring back Tim Davies
Sniffer-Clarke Posted 5 May 2008 Author Posted 5 May 2008 No he didn't! Yes he did i heard it on the 10 am news on RL and there is a phone tonight you are a twat.
Sniffer-Clarke Posted 5 May 2008 Author Posted 5 May 2008 Last week was last one NO its not, do some of you on the forum dream of these thinks.
The Reverend Posted 5 May 2008 Posted 5 May 2008 NO its not, do some of you on the forum dream of these thinks. Perhaps they have organised one for tonight after yesterday? Who knows.
Sniffer-Clarke Posted 5 May 2008 Author Posted 5 May 2008 No he didn't! Arsehole did you listen to the 10am news on RL or was you still in bed.
C-man Posted 5 May 2008 Posted 5 May 2008 There is a forum on tonight at 6. Sammy Chung, I think some people, including me, can be excused for not believing you about your Mandaric story, seeing as he blatantly wouldn't admit defeat like that - he's too proud. Also, calling Kilworth a twat and an arsehole is not going to help the reputability of your semi-literate post.

MM should stand down for one main reason and that is he is simply useless at picking the right man to manage a football club, his record is appauling!! How many managers did he have to go through before he hit apon Harry Redknapp?? (Portsmouth) And we are going through the same scenario here at Leicester City. IMO He should go to the man who appointed our most sucessfull managers (Love him or hate him that man was former chairman Martin George) If my memory severs me right he was the one who appointed both Brian Little & Martin Oneill, and he knew how to run LCFC from top to bottom, & watch the pennies!! Stand down MM appoint Martin George (If he wants it) and lets move forward next season
Ultra Posted 5 May 2008 Posted 5 May 2008 Martin George has been in talks with Mandaric, and could easily afford to buy him out. That moment can't come soon enough.
Chimp Posted 5 May 2008 Posted 5 May 2008 Martin George has been in talks with Mandaric, and could easily afford to buy him out. How do you know this? Do you have a source?

Stand down MM appoint Martin George (If he wants it) and lets move forward next season I've said before that we should be looking to get Martin George back. It would be the first step in the ight direction in my opinion. Let's just hope that he wants to come back.
Webbo Posted 5 May 2008 Posted 5 May 2008 Martin George has been in talks with Mandaric, and could easily afford to buy him out. That moment can't come soon enough. I'd welcome Martin George but I don't think he'd take on the debt. I could see him coming in as chairman buying a minority stake.
Daggers Posted 5 May 2008 Posted 5 May 2008 I'd welcome Martin George Not me. Hate the man with a passion.
Webbo Posted 5 May 2008 Posted 5 May 2008 Not me.Hate the man with a passion. So do most of the people who've met him (so I'm told) but he was a good chairman.
Corky Posted 5 May 2008 Posted 5 May 2008 Not me.Hate the man with a passion. Why? I always thought he was a good chairman, who had the club's best interests at heart.
Zingari Posted 5 May 2008 Posted 5 May 2008 Mandaric unsure of Foxes future 28 minutes ago Chairman Milan Mandaric could walk away from Leicester following the club's relegation from the Championship. A goalless draw against Stoke at the Britannia Stadium, coupled with Southampton's 3-2 home victory over Sheffield United, saw the Foxes drop down to the league's third tier for the first time in their 124-year history. And when asked whether he would be staying on as chairman, the City owner told the Telegraph: "I don't know. I am not going to make any decisions at this moment." Mandaric set out a three-year plan to get Leicester back into the Premier League when he completed his £25million-plus takeover of the club in February 2007, and admits that Sunday's events have severely dinted his objectives. "We have to face the facts and regroup," he said. "It is not an easy moment. It is one I have never experienced before in any project, whether business or football. "It is a dreadful experience. It is a shame. I feel let down and right now I am not a very happy man. "You don't have to be Einstein. If you look at the support I have given to my managers and my players, both financially and morally, and what do you get in response? You expect rewards and results. We didn't get it and you have to feel let down." Asked about manager Ian Holloway's future, Mandaric added: "I cannot discuss that. I need a couple of days of calming down. "We need to come up with the right strategy. We owe it to the supporters to turn this around and find some positives in this dreadful time." http://ukpress.google.com/article/ALeqM5jz...7ghttFQAKUIPl6Q
