TBH if dowie wanted the job i think he would be the leading candidate for it.

HE knows this level, was here with Oldham, got palace to the prem, frob being in the bottom 3 at christmas, and people dont want him.

I'm not a Dowie fan but I would say that we've had a team that has massively under perfromed.

I don't really care if a managers ugly or if another once said bad things about our club, these are just stupid personal opinions. Ratboy has had his chance and failed big time at LCFC.

This insane logic of we carn't keep changing managers, whats all that about???? FFS!!!!!

The only reason we keep changing managers is because the we keep picking the wrong ones.

All this CRAP about we now need stability...YOU DONT GET STABILITY WHEN YOU HAVE JUST BEEN RELEGATED!!!!!!!....Clubs come in and nick your better players STEARMAN MATTOCK MCCAULEY and the like, its a time for wiping the slate clean and starting again, and that most certinly applies to RATBOY!!

We are not going to "Take this division by storm". We are not "A team in the wrong league"...We ARE here On merit.

Any sentimental fool who comes out with the SHITE that RATBOY should get a second chance because he's a good bloke, and "We like Ollie" are ****ING CRAZY..1 PT PER ****ING GAME FOR 30 ODD GAMES FFS!!!

I really really hope MM does not appoint anymore managers at Leicester, as only ONCE in about 14 attempts as Chairman of (Leicester & Portsmouth) has he got it right (Redknapp)

That even makes Ratboys pathetic record look good!!

too many people come on here saying dowie is crap but qpr want him and he could be managing a team that is in a higher division than ours if anything dowie is too big for us!!!!! by the way howey is a legend!!!!!!!!!

people are coming on here and saying thank god about dowie moving to QPR but we have made a ridiculous mistake not going for him people grief him but he went to man u with cov and battered them so he cant be that bad!!!!!!

holloway is the worst manager this club has had and is still in charge it shows how low the club has got and that it has no ambition to do anything about it for me i would have had dowie all day, we are a complete mess!!!!!!!

Yeah and Leicester beat Aston Villa and pushed Chelsea to the brink yet we got relegated... great team we are aren't we. Dowie got lucky with the Coventry win against Man Utd... if he was that bloody good, he'd still be in charge of them!!!

Mandaric and Holloway meeting went with the "it's business as usual at Leicester" 3 days later Dowie becomes new QPR manager, doesn't take a genius to work that one out

Dowie would no doubt do a good job. Having managed at this level with Oldham. But for me, he's too much like a steve bruce. i.e. will jump from job to job. He may want to take over but if he was to do well and another club of championship or prem level came in for him he'd be off faster than you could say gary megson!

Holloway was never a fav of mine but maybe it's best to stick with him and give him a pre-season and 12 months to prove he can cope. The only person I blame for the shit we're in is MM. If he's stuck by Allen you can be sure we wouldn't be pitching up at Hereford and mk dons this year! What's funny is that Allen could now be back at the walkers this season with his new team. 6 points coming his way I think. :(

I thought people stopped talking about Allen years ago!!

I dont think we would have stayed up with Allen to be honest, but there is no point even debating about something we will never know the answer to. :D

Yeah, simple - Mandy had lined up 'Plug' from the Bash Street Kids 1st XI, as Hollowhead's replacement - and was due to announce it last Friday at the much vaunted press conference; all for the QPR Ice Cream seller to sack Paolo's kid brother and offer the job to 'Plug'. "Bu**er me, says Mandy (or the Serbo-Croat equivalent), I'll have to say I'm still thinking about the future of our Manager and something about 'business as usual', until I can think of someone else to replace Hollowhead". 4 days later, he comes up with the wheeze of giving IH until "early June to sort things out", when really he's desperately touting (tarting ?!) around to find another guy - ie someone who'll accept the job of sorting out the 'Crazy World of Arthur T Mandaric' and a club plummeting down.
