It's been working fine for the three months I have had it, until last night when I was texting, the screen started going black, flickering & then turning my screen upside down & after leaving it off all night it's doing the same shit this morning. I rang Nokia UK & got through to Botswana or something. & got told to download the Nokia Software Updater. Which I did, but it, 'currently isn't working on Vista' & they don't know when it will be fixed. All 3 laptops in my house are on Vista. So does anyone know where the nearest Nokia Care Point is in Leicester ??

This may sound stupid and even obvious, but take out the battery and the sim and clean it a bit then re-try as i had the same problem with my Nokia and after i did that it worked perfect again! Just might need a good clean to get the dust out!

JadeFalcon Posted 14 May 2008 Posted 14 May 2008 to be honest with u this sounds like a hardware problem and not a software one, try looking on google for other people having the same problem and see what their solutions were, as i wouldnt have thought a software problem would cause a screen to flicker on/off or to flip directions either
Monk Posted 14 May 2008 Posted 14 May 2008 I think I can diagnose the problem - It's a Nokia. I think there's a repair centre on Humberstone Rd on the way out of town. Can't verify that though I am afraid.

Now three months down the line, the software has gone again, I'm now phoneless as it's smashed So off i go to the 02 shop before football tomorrow!
