Ric Flair Posted 9 January 2009 Posted 9 January 2009 Flair and Woolers are in? Keen. Burgers at the Sports Cafe followed by the game. I'm probably going to go straight from work to get the drinking in early. 6pm. Can anyone else get there about that time? I'm going to look in to the train prices for this, i'm actually off on that Monday so just need to make sure I can be back in time for work on Tuesday.
gazzer Posted 9 January 2009 Posted 9 January 2009 I'm based in Surrey during the week. Can I join your club? - Gazzer

Benji Posted 9 January 2009 Posted 9 January 2009 Sports Cafe is great, it's like a big american sport love fest with tv screens everywhere and american football memorabilia shit everywhere Unfortunately I have an exam 19th and 21st, but i'll go there for the sky game in Feb
Ric Flair Posted 9 January 2009 Posted 9 January 2009 £22 for me, plus the price of a taxi from leics back home which would be about £20-25. This could be ON! A quick £100 evening, but it would be a giggle.

Ric Flair Posted 9 January 2009 Posted 9 January 2009 It's even better, my mate works in London on a Monday and usually drives back in the evening. I could get the train down £12 and then he can drive us both back after the 8-0 win. He loves an Ockto stacker too, he was the one who introduced me to the slags.

Alexikokopops Posted 18 January 2009 Posted 18 January 2009 So who's coming to the Sports Cafe tomorrow?
Guest Posted 18 January 2009 Posted 18 January 2009 I've been stuck on a night shift at work so no beers and footy for me at the sports cafe sadly I shall have to listen to it online Next time there's a London Foxes gathering keep me posted though guys
Fez of Mahrez Posted 18 January 2009 Posted 18 January 2009 Tempted. Will they definitely have it on? When I went there last, they had about 6 different sporting events on including 2 different football matches, so I'd say it's a pretty safe bet.
gazzer Posted 19 January 2009 Posted 19 January 2009 So who's coming to the Sports Cafe tomorrow? be rude not to

The People's Hero Posted 19 January 2009 Posted 19 January 2009 Can't make it folks - sorry. Would love to but got a lot on tonight. Also I've given up the beer so I'd be no fun.
James. Posted 19 January 2009 Author Posted 19 January 2009 Hmm don't think I can make it either. I have a new flat to sort out and after the weekend I've had I'd rather not drink, not on a Monday anyway. Sorry. xx
Alexikokopops Posted 19 January 2009 Posted 19 January 2009 It looks like this plan has fallen apart. Shambolic.
The People's Hero Posted 19 January 2009 Posted 19 January 2009 Sounds like some people are still going?
fox123 Posted 19 January 2009 Posted 19 January 2009 I went in that bar to watch the last Hatton fight. Don't know if anyone remembers Lloyd Honeyghan? but he was in there as well, really nice chap and goes in there quite a bit apparently.
