James. Posted 16 May 2008 Posted 16 May 2008 I'm not really an up-my-own-arse-London-worshipping-mockney-willy puller... but I DO live in London and often have to make long, lonely train journeys to see Leicester lose. It would be much more fun if I had some men and beer around me on these little excursions so if any London citizens are up for some League 1 away day (and the odd home game) action express your thoughts here...

Yes. But I'll be coming from Maidstone ---> Victoria then onward bound for a number of them.
Monk Posted 16 May 2008 Posted 16 May 2008 I live in this sty of a city too. Will be going to a lot of saturday away days next season, especially those in the south. No season ticket this time around though. I am viewing a house not far from Leyton tomorrow. IF I move there and we have Orient away on a saturday in August or September I think we'll be having a Foxestalk BBQ before the game. Actually can we do the same at yours for Millwall James?

May be worth looking at the south west foxes thread as its for anyone in the south really.

Alexikokopops Posted 16 May 2008 Posted 16 May 2008 I'll be in Reading, so some matches I might have to go via London. I don't really know. I start work in a week and a half and still haven't got anywhere to live.

Daggers Posted 16 May 2008 Posted 16 May 2008 My cousin has a place near oxford st, He is gay. Everyone is gay in London - it's something to do with the coffee shops and the Pearly Queens.

Frenzied Posted 17 May 2008 Posted 17 May 2008 I'm based in the smoke too. I'd be well up for a few away day and home game jaunts, with a few beers. There's a few of us based in London that go to the southern away games. I try and get to a few more than that though. I'll also be going to most of the home games, although not in midweek (stupid money on the train). Millwall and the Os will be a laugh.
Daggers Posted 17 May 2008 Posted 17 May 2008 There is a whole bunch of them travel on the train on the TB forum...although I think you have to swear to hate Holloway and moan constantly about everything. And like pies.
Finnegan Posted 17 May 2008 Posted 17 May 2008 Everyone is gay in London - it's something to do with the coffee shops and the Pearly Queens. I think you'll find that's exclusively Crouch End. Oh and as far as the thread goes, I think I'll be in Leicester for next season still. But if I move back to Haringey I'll be all for a travel buddy.
