Tilley Posted 22 May 2008 Posted 22 May 2008 I was going to go this one, But couldn't get the time off work. So will have to settle for Sky Box Office. I'm really looking forward to this fight, ecspecially after watchin, At Home With The Hattons on Sky One last Sunday. Lads round, beer, pizza & a nice bit of boxing. Hope Hatton pulls it off because two losses in a row would all but end his career. Is anybody else going to be watching this?
Bert Posted 22 May 2008 Posted 22 May 2008 Yep, I'm going town, then on my walk home, casually drop into my mates who lives a couple of doors away.
lildave3 Posted 22 May 2008 Posted 22 May 2008 I really cant find it in me to like Ricky Hatton. Why?
Durnerz Posted 22 May 2008 Posted 22 May 2008 Lazcano's an easy win for Hatton, he'll retire after this fight IMO. What with all the 'At home with the Hatton's' and 'Ricky Hatton: A life story' programmes it looks like he's trying to gather every last penny towards his retirement fund.
Uncle Albert Posted 22 May 2008 Posted 22 May 2008 I predict a comfortable win for Ricky. Hopefully all the fans are singing throughout like the Mayweather fight. Still deciding on where to watch it.
Raj Posted 22 May 2008 Posted 22 May 2008 Bit of a o brainer bout for Hatton IMHO. After fighting the like of Mayweather whats the point in this? Still hope jhe does well as i think he's a good one but its abit like Man U now playing City after winning the Champions League!!!

Boxin is all about beating a few not so big names to get a BIG match. Like, if he beats Lazcano, He can then go on fight someone else and then get his Mayweather re-match. Something along those lines anyway, Even though he would probably lose to Mayweather again so she shouldnt have a rematch imo.

Why the fcuk have a meaningless match up with the chance of a loss(Ie MR Junior Witter last week!) and jepordise everything. Just carry on fighting the best in the Division(I may be doing Lazcano a diservice here but im sure he's not one of the best in the world?....If he is i take it all back!!!)
Tilley Posted 22 May 2008 Author Posted 22 May 2008 Juan Lazcano wearing a Man Utd shirt. Original? Oh, no. He's a life long Manchester United 'fan'
Bert Posted 22 May 2008 Posted 22 May 2008 Juan Lazcano wearing a Man Utd shirt. Original? Or, done to piss Hatton off, remember he's a City fan.
lildave3 Posted 22 May 2008 Posted 22 May 2008 Or, done to piss Hatton off, remember he's a City fan. Yeah but Mayweather did the same, that's why he's saying original. I think.
Samilktray Posted 23 May 2008 Posted 23 May 2008 Yeah but Mayweather did the same, that's why he's saying original.I think.

ASH17LCFC Posted 24 May 2008 Posted 24 May 2008 Gonna be rubbish, this fight is just for Haton to win and he even admitted the guy is hardly nothing. 56,000 is a good crowd but how many of them are real boxing fans ? Imagine being there ? 56,000 Liam Gallaghers
