Hellings and Etuhu.

Hellings because he's dutch and his first name is Sergio

Etuhu because errr... he made an impression obviously, definately sign him up next season

Marton Fulop was brilliant for us, but when he left it opened the door for Henderson and he kept us in the relegation fight.

Clemence in the middle with Lee Hendrie would have kept us up in the second half of the season, Hendrie was a class above, technically and physically brilliant and was awesome at West Bromwich Albion away, not to mention winning us the game at home to S****horpe.

He looked like he genuinely cared too!

I voted Kaebi and Lakczo

All that expectation, and then they were sh*t. :giggle:

True

but still they weren't as poor as cort. why didn't you vote form him if you wanted to take the piss

Kaebi and Howard - I expected both to be brilliant for us when they signed and each would shape our season. Sadly they summed our season right up. AWOL for half of it, useless for the other half!

I've chosen Jimmy Nielsen and Steve Howard because their signings bookended a miserable twelve months of really, really bad recruiting.

Nielsen summed up the early part of the season. A really feckless signing - presumably there were bungs aplenty surrounding that one?

Howard was an accident waiting to happen. I'm sorry, but I'm going to ignore the WBA hat-trick as they'd already had a defender sent off and individual achievements count for jack shit when you've been relegated. His record was ok, if unspectacular, before we signed him. But what we continue to do time and time again is invest heavily in experienced players that don't deliver. How did we not see the flashing neon sign above his head saying "DON'T SIGN ME, YOU'LL REGRET IT"? If a 31 year old (now 32) can't cut it in the Prem, why would we sign him on his modest scoring record, and on a 3.5 year contract and for >£1M ???!!! If he scores 25 goals next season, it will be wholly irrelevant as he wasn't signed to score against L1 opposition. We should get shot now and back some younger, more hungry talent - homegrown or bought. We have to break this cycle of lumbering ourselves with old carthorses happy to go out to pasture.

I chose Clemence and Oakley. 2 alleged big name signings, both captains of promoted sides so should have been more than capable of hauling us up the table.

Ths list missed off the biggest flops, all the managers who weren't able to motivate these 2 sufficiently even to give 75%.

We need people who want to play week in and week out for the fans, the club and the manager. To show pride, passion and leadership for this great city.

More players like Stearman and Wesolowski.

Bring on league 1 - we need to rip the league apart next year

Most people picked marton fulop, no wonder, because his performances were nothing short of magical! But I opted for Clemence, not the best sometimes, but good when called upon, pretty solid.

Bell got my vote for jan signings, beaut!

Jonny was my choice........ how the effin hell did we manage to get relegated with Jonny Haynes in the squad?????????

I stand corrected. I was thinking of Darren Moore, but he left WBA two seasons ago.

Still against ten men though, and still a waste of money.

Fulop and Hendrie for me if I'm thinking about who was good.

The Sappletiser and Worley if I'm looking to the future.
