Personally i think Mandaric is culpable for the current mess as he did employee Holloway and gave him the money for the crap players he brought. Fans need to ask themselves what they really want a a club with money but a hopeless chairman or a manager who can work miracles when we haven't got a pot to piss in. I know which one i'd rather have at the moment.

By the way people who think Holloway is a moron should have the guts at least to say it to his face. Yes he was the wrong man and now he's gone but he came across away from Football as a decent man. He has a wife who has battled cancer and his kids are both deaf so if that makes him a moron what does that make the rest of us? By the way his wife does know what people like us think about him as she apparently goes on the fans websites.

Has anyone, apart from Ibbosuk actually called him a moron :dunno:

Yeah I have the "faith" to get it right. How can anyone? Did the Sheff United, Barnsley, Sheff Wed and Stoke games not prove this? I'm sure your the only one to feel like this, 'cos i'm sure we'll still have the commitment from the fans next season.

Don't get me wrong, I'll be there all season. I have 100% commitemnt in this club, but no faith in them, or beleif they will get it right, consistanltly. I've got my hopes up too many times.

I have no faith whatsoever unfortunately.

But this similar thing happened at Portsmouth, he had plenty of managers in his time there until he finally came across Redknapp.

Exactly. Milan hired and fired (or lost) 9 managers before Harry came back and worked his magic. So if we're not counting Wortho we've got about 6 more managers to go through before he gets it right.

I have more faith in the Foxes Trust being able to organise a garden fete with some Morris dancers and a real ale stall than I do in Mandaric being able to spot a decent manager.

You say that but realy almost every city fan was ecstatic when we first signed Holloway, so realy is it not just him that cant see a good manager (with or without this current " English football manager crisis") but it is also us too.

No we weren't. I can't be bothered to go back to the threads again - but the overwhelming feeling of those with a brain was 'oh well, not our first choice but we are going to back him' and 'at least the football can not be as bad as it was under Megson'.

As to your later point, I agree absolutely. "We" are a huge problem (using the collective noun), the daft expectations now placed upon our manager are totally out of wack with reality and the ability of the squad. Just dip into the other threads today to see people posting rubbish about "the quality" of our current squad...it's amazing. :yesyes:

I was ecstatic to get rid of the "were going nowhere but down" board with their no investment and poor attempts at appeasing the fans.

Mandaric has put his money where his mouth is fair play chap, however for many reasons it has not worked. I like his money, but abilities and decision making are at best hugely questionable!

No faith at all....I've heard his list of potential includes Christain Gross, Egil Olsen, Steve Wigley, Peter Taylor, Jim Fallon, Dennis Wise and Calude Anelka and Clive Woodward!

Where did you hear this potential list?

As its the first i've seen it mentioned to be honest.

60:40 split - I'm surprised at the closeness of it to be honest. There again, I think I was wrong to make it such a boolean option, it should have been a scale of faith rather than a yes/no thing.

Still, lookyhere Mandy, the ball is firmly in your court now - you have something to prove to an awful lot of people.

Impress me.

You got to remember most people greeted the arrival of Mandaric like the Second Coming and, rather like watching your shares crash, they keep believing the upturn is just around the corner.

With the managerial candidates listed by the bookmakers it ought to be but it's not that simple.

a) Not all managerial applicants are actually willing to take on the job when push comes to shove.

b) Whoever takes over has to somehow cope with Mandaric and what he thinks is best.

Oddly, I think most were simply optimistic for the future - quite acceptable in my book.

As I said, if he doesn't pull off a coup next season then I can easily see the vocal demands for his departure before the winter has thawed.

What crap!

And I have faith in Mandaric. I think he will eventually get it right
