Two teenage boys jailed for life for the murder of a woman who was killed for dressing as a Goth have lodged an appeal against their sentences.

Herbert and Harris kicked and stamped Ms Lancaster to death.

Brothers Joseph, 17, and Danny Hulme, 16, and Daniel Mallett (who pleaded guilty to grievous bodily harm with intent on Mr Maltby) have also appealed against their sentences.

Wankers.

Am I the only one who read this thread title and promptly jumped to the conclusion that Daggers thinks the goth-killers are really rather lovely?:nono:

But, yes, it's grotesque that this situation should even have arisen. Let them rot in jail.

Well, according to some, it is symptomatic of a decline in religiosity! :D

Well it is from the point that hundreds of years ago peasant yokels like that were kept in line by the fear of god (to an extent). I'm not saying this is a good thing, it just was.

Still, the kind of scum that would drown in the shallow end of the gene pool.

Their lawyers have a lot to answer for.. :o:angry:

Shakespeare's advice is well worth following - even now...lol

They haven't been given the right to appeal, they are just stating that they are appealing.

There must be a serious flaw in the law for them to be successful, and if they are, the law needs to be looked at. Having said that, there are many that will try their luck, but the majority do not succeed. I hope that they do not. They are scum of the highest order.

I'm going to hazard a guess here that none of them passed GCSE English.

Maybe society would be best served by locking up everyone who fails to achieve a grade C in English and Maths?

I just know Phube and Webbo would be on board with this plan :D

What about those who failed to achieve C at A level.

If one pleaded guilty before the trial I don't quite understand how he is going to appeal, unless its purely an argument on his sentence length? But surely that's not a question of law :S

Don't worry, I'm confused as well!
