Tevez Posted 5 April 2009 Posted 5 April 2009 I woke up the other night after dreaming that I was blind. It's one of the scariest things that has happened.
StanSP Posted 5 April 2009 Posted 5 April 2009 I keep having dreams about my teeth being wobbly and then just before I wake up, they fall out and I can feel them in my hand. Its about the 10th time it's happened. Apparently it has some outer and more significant meaning.

One theory is that dreams about your teeth reflect your anxiety about your appearance and how others perceive you. Sadly, we live in a world where good looks are valued highly and your teeth play an important role in conveying that image. Teeth are used in the game of flirtations, whether it be a dazzling and gleaming smile or affectionate necking. These dreams may stem from a fear of your sexual impotence or the consequences of getting old. Teeth are an important feature of our attractiveness and presentation to others. Everybody worries about how they appear to others. Caring about our appearance is natural and healthy.Another rationalization for these falling teeth dream may be rooted in your fear of being embarrassed or making a fool of yourself in some specific situation. These dreams are an over-exaggeration of your worries and anxiety.
lildave3 Posted 5 April 2009 Posted 5 April 2009 Last week I dreamt I was playing for Leicester, when Nicky Butt kicked me for no reason. Then Steve randomly appeared and started pushing Nicky Butt. Hero.

Happens every couple of days. It's just so weird and I can't think as to why it is. Apparently it can also be about powerlessness because in the animal kingdom teeth can represent power.

When I wake up, I am so paranoid that I really have lost a tooth, or that they are wobbling. But there is nothing at all wrong with them!

According to Freud, dreaming about losing your teeth means you have a fear of being punished for masturbating.

Fosse Boy Posted 14 May 2009 Posted 14 May 2009 Well, here's a summary of my dreams from last night: Leicester won the Cup final at Wembley and there was a pitch invasion. I then found myself at a Leeds v Bradford Rugby League match which finished 24-23. After that I was at someone's house for tea, then I was walking to my grandparents' house in Harborough while there was a robbery in progress round the corner from them. The robber then came up to me and told me if I told the police that he'd smash my house up, throwing his phone on the ground as proof of what he was capable of. I then wrestled with the moral decision of whether or not to tell the cops, whilst lying low in my house in Colchester. I then woke up, in my house in Colchester. Weird.

Guest Posted 14 May 2009 Posted 14 May 2009 Not in my case as I'm having op to remove wisdom teeth next week I'm having one of mine out the week after; are they making you have a general anaesthetic as well? That bit is really worrying me.

Guest Posted 14 May 2009 Posted 14 May 2009 Yeah, and I'm a right coward tooAlso worried it might ruin my looks Good luck. If they do manage to ruin your modelling career, you could sue them.
skinnydipper Posted 14 May 2009 Posted 14 May 2009 Good luck. If they do manage to ruin your modelling career, you could sue them. With the government shafting legal aid I may have to consider a career change As for modelling I've got no chance ( see avatar ) But I wouldn't mind being a postie
Guest Posted 14 May 2009 Posted 14 May 2009 With the government shafting legal aid I may have to consider a career change As for modelling I've got no chance ( see avatar ) But I wouldn't mind being a postie I was reading an article in The Times this week that says that the government now wants to cut the fees for ambulance chasers, although I must admit that I wouldn't be too unhappy to see the back of compensation culture. Contrary to Sir Fynwy's beliefs, I don't think I'll be earning enough for him to become a house husband for the foreseeable.....
Asha Posted 14 May 2009 Posted 14 May 2009 My Dreams > Everyone elses. Wrong, unless your dreams also include Tilley.
