acooling08 Posted 27 June 2008 Posted 27 June 2008 Link Personally like to hang on to him. if he can't perform next season then get rid.
Flynny Posted 27 June 2008 Posted 27 June 2008 Selling him would be the worst mistake of the lot. We need him this season. Sell Oakley instead.

SamL Posted 27 June 2008 Posted 27 June 2008 but £700,000 would be good Only if you spend it wisely. I think we've already received enough in transfer funds for the players we've sold. We don't need to be selling any more of our better players.
Webbo Posted 27 June 2008 Posted 27 June 2008 Selling him would be the worst mistake of the lot. We need him this season. Sell Oakley instead. I think we need to sell one , keep one of those two. Not sure which tbh.
Head Honcho Posted 27 June 2008 Posted 27 June 2008 Selling him would be the worst mistake of the lot. We need him this season. Sell Oakley instead. Don't be ridiculous! ...............anyway don't worry he'll be off sooner rather then later.
dandannieldanok Posted 27 June 2008 Posted 27 June 2008 Selling him would be the worst mistake of the lot. We need him this season. Sell Oakley instead. Buying him proved one of the worst mistakes last season.
iancognito Posted 27 June 2008 Posted 27 June 2008 Can anyone name a game that Clemence dominated from midfield last season? Any time he split a defence open with a perfectly weighted pass or bent a free-kick into the postage stamp corner? It never happened. His career at City has gone the same way as his passing - sideways. Anything over £500K will be good business.
fox123 Posted 27 June 2008 Posted 27 June 2008 Get rid I say another of the dead wood out the way, would rather have Oakley in midfield than Clemence.
FleckneyFox Posted 27 June 2008 Posted 27 June 2008 1 of Clemence and Oakley has to be sold, I dont think they can play in the same team but they are both to good to be left out a League 1 team.
Father Ted Posted 27 June 2008 Posted 27 June 2008 LinkPersonally like to hang on to him. if he can't perform next season then get rid. Just got back from France after hearing midweek that Hume and Stearz had been sold. Hopefully, the sale of this retard will prove that this club isn't a full shambles.

Hes a holding player, not a Muzzy type all the city delusionals seem to compare every number 6 to.
NorthernFox Posted 27 June 2008 Posted 27 June 2008 I think we need to sell one , keep one of those two. Not sure which tbh. I'm with SV, we DEFINATELY need one of these players still at the club next season, if not both.
Lichfieldfox. Posted 27 June 2008 Posted 27 June 2008 I'm with SV, we DEFINATELY need one of these players still at the club next season, if not both. Get rid of both. King Weso Levi and Gradel in midfield. If we keep one of them keep Oakley as at least he attempts to get in the box once in a while.
Father Ted Posted 27 June 2008 Posted 27 June 2008 I hope this moron leaves. The only creativity he created was for the other team...
smokey Posted 27 June 2008 Posted 27 June 2008 I hope this moron leaves. The only creativity he created was for the other team... I think we need to sell 2 more players and thats that!! Clemence and Howard! That would bring in about 1.7m and make a total of over 5 million in sales, surely Pearson can have 3 Million of that to re-build! Although i think we will see Mattock go to Everton by Monday for about 2 Million!

smokey Posted 27 June 2008 Posted 27 June 2008 If Mattock knows what is right for him he won't go. I Agree!!! But usually when someone offers you 4 times your current salary it suddenly becomes right!!
Father Ted Posted 27 June 2008 Posted 27 June 2008 I Agree!!!But usually when someone offers you 4 times your current salary it suddenly becomes right!! But he has got to think of his future, does he risk his career/life/england chances just for some more money. I don't know whether he still goes to school, probably finishing at the end of this year but he's still a kid, born and bred in leicester and still lives with his parents.

MikeyT Posted 30 June 2008 Posted 30 June 2008 Foxes' Clemence is offered Forrest armband (From NOTW) COLIN'S SKIPPER LURE COLIN CALDERWOOD has lined up a £500,000 bid for Stephen Clemence - and wants him as captain at Nottingham Forest. Calderwood is ready to dangle the carrot of the skipper’s armband to Clemence in a bid to lure him from Leicester. Clemence is also wanted by Midlands rivals Wolves but Calderwood - who knows him from his time at Spurs - is closing in on a deal. Forest are also set to complete the £100,000 signing of Motherwell striker Ross McCormack this week.
