Did you get 5000? the correct answer is actually - 4100. If you don't believe it, check it with your calculator.

Astonishingly enough, it's the last 2 weeks of September. Take 1000 and add 40 to it. Now add another 1000. Now add 30. Now add another 1000. Now add 20. Now add another 1000. I get 4100... is that wrong? i tried it loads of people the other night and they all said 5000 ; but obviously ft members are a lot smarter than my circle of friends
Bryn Posted 17 July 2008 Posted 17 July 2008 It's easier when it's written down in front of you, when you're taking in spoken words, translating them into numbers, doing the sum then speaking agian it all gets a bit scrambled and you're much more likely to get it wrong.
